"Maybe if I gain some height, or fine a Tailor to hem up the cuffs, I might take advantage of some of Gareth's castoffs. They have been kept for the youngest. Mother is wise in her frugality."

"Just, like, high-society ones. Or maybe you have ice powers - you ever wanna sing it out and make a snow castle on an isolated mountaintop?"

A chuckle "Actually, sometimes It seemed every time I was going to learn a cantrip for my very own, someone else would already have it. Which is fine, good even, but... everyone wants to feel special"

For example, a nocker and a troll both learn ice magic... the troll casts ,and it smells of ever greens in winter and cracks like a glacier giving way. The nocker's magic might be more like the sound of an ice cream machine, or the hiss of liquid nitrogen. Neither is less magical, but different oh yes"

"Oh mixed feelings about that movie. Elsa really didn't think some things through... technically she had TWO kingdoms from outside plot against her... but did she use her power to demand recompense for the insult, or say ask for tribute for five years each from weaslton and and whatever that other land was from in exchange for their criminals back and protection from an ice age? NO.. despite the fact it really would have lowered her people's taxes and made her much beloved. "

"I have to be" She shrugs "And in truth, most sidhe love it. Even the Scathatch who claim to have renounced kings try their little agendas from the shadows to sshape things. I rather enjoy ruling, but I hope I never forget the happiness of the people. it's like.. my craft? I know if I try hard and think ahead I can improve things. "
