"I'm afraid that there aren't any Native connections on this table that I know of, but there are a few others of interest. Specifically - " And then she stops, and chuckles. "But that would be telling, now, wouldn't it?"

"You're a bit of a tease, aren't you Mrs. White?" A smile even as she realizes she sassed out loud "I mean, thank you"

She chuckles. Looking up from her papers, she calls over, "No giving anything away, Arty. You all scat now, it's time for my lunch as well. If you don't see me using the Bunsen burners to heat up my soup, then no one gets in trouble for it."

Snerk. "C'mon - let's get some sunshine, yeah?"

SNERK and she nods and slips out. Telling the others "looks like I've got extra work. But it's too good a chance to let slip"

Arty offers, "Do you want to study together? You did have interesting insight into those stories from the Summer reading."

"thank you, Art, I'd like that"

"Trina was going to show me some YouTube, too." Following the Nocker's lead. He doesn't question it when she takes the longer path around to get to the cafeteria and courtyard - rather than going straight through the art hall.

Oh yes - that whole wing is avoided, as much as possible.

So think they all "Well, Trinna, want to make it a study group of 3? I actually.. LIKE Mrs. White"

"We could. I mean, what else am I doing after school?"

"Building a space ship?"

"Well, I do have lacrosse, and at lunch I'm going to eat with my boyfriend"

"Right, right. Go smooch Chuck."

"Art and I are gonna eat outside while the weather holds, right Art?"

"Chuck is very smoochable" Light blush but she tries to say it with dignity

Arty shrugs. "I didn't bring anything, so we can go to the cafeteria, or to the library... but outside is nice."

He does not comment about Chuck's smoochability.

"Gwen!" Chuck has tracked them down and waves from the other side of the cafe! "It's Pizza day!" Cheers from the jock crowd.

"School pizza is better than sad PB&J, for sure."

"Even school pizza is still pizza."

"You wanna get some? I can find a spot outside."

"CHUCK" A grin "Pizza is great"

"Yeah, I'll meet you outside!"

He grins and heads out to find a spot in the shade.

Arty is in luck, he doesn't run into any of the kids from Chemistry there, nor Kristin.

Gwen gets her pizza with Chuck and sits with him

Chuck is animated today! One of his buds brings up his recent fumble on the field, tripping over a teammate, a flip and landing in the mud... but he laughs it off good naturedly. "You're just jealous that I could double-team on the cheer squad."

Trina goes through the line to get pizza - she packed a lunch, but Art needs to eat.

"Muddy fields are the worst"

It's a good thing Trina got in line quickly, the pizza sells out fast! Not too fast for her to snag a slice of the greasy pepperoni pie, choice of milk and a side.

She books it out to the courtyard.

Score! She got an extra slice! It's like the gods of fate rolled the dice in her favor.

Win!

Art waves over at her. "That was quick. I thought you brought your lunch today, anyways."

"I did. Pizza for you!" She sets the tray down as she plunks down beside him.

"School pizza is also superior to Tuna Surprise."

"But that costs money." He says, a little awkwardly.

"Like two bucks."

"Is that a lot? I'll find a way to repay you."

"Sure you will. I'll hold you to it."

He pledges, even as he can't resist any longer and takes a big bite - and burns the top of his mouth. Quickly huffing to inhale cool air. "Ish good."

"Pizza is always good. Even bad pizza."

"They haven't found a way to can it, then." Another bite now that it's cooled a bit.

"Eww, no, yeah."

Gwen tells Chuck about her extra credit option "Which I have to take her up on... want to make sure I got that buffer to stay in Lacrosse"

Chuck grins. "That's sweet. Mr. Hardy - he teaches Junior level Physics - doesn't offer extra credit. But if you ace the midterm he let's you go to Six Flags for the final project."

"Man, roller coaster huh?"

"You just have to write a paper about the, like, the way to rides work... with physics..." It sounds like maybe Chuck won't be on that trip. He's still cute though...
