"To be honest, it was not so much any urgency in time, so much that it was a need for Tiberius. He needed a quest, and I hope he finds what he seeks... not for myself, but for his own soul." A small smile. "Though the horses WOULD be grand, yes." It takes him a moment to recall who 'Spark' is, but then his eyes widen. "He has? Young for that! Oh, it would be marvelous to have a pegasus. Not unlike a merger between stables and mews. But... he is well there? He thrives?"

"He lacks his father's dignity and panicks his mother... but yes, he thrives." A smile on her face "The greater fear is them spoiling him, but the Chieftain will curb that temptation"

"Have they given further thought to a halter? I would be concerned of flight beyond where his sire and dam can follow to protect. If they do not wish to curb him...." He ponders. "A ward, upon the sky itself? An invisible paddock that extends up and over... room to stretch and play, but not travel outside the bounds..."

"the ward is an interesting notionn, as for the halter, I think there are already things in motion with Willy?"

"Yes... I will check with her." He nods. "Though, both temporary solutions. Training and taming will ultimately be the key."

"Have faith, Aiden, Dame Dagmar, and the Chieftain know horses too. Not as well, but they will do diligence"

A small smile. "I wouldn't dream of disparaging the skill of Baroness Shacklebreaker. We may not see eye to eye, but her skill with horses and the joust is undeniable. Dame Dagmar shows promise as well."

"Though... with training, I hope our Lavender may send her flying on the lists next Pennons."

"No small request" A smile "But yes. It would be thrilling. I know it is not the prize tthat matters o you, but even third place can gain reward and reputation and glory"

"When I was a lad, I thought of glory in the lists, but it turned out that I am better suited to raising stallions then riding them. Trolls have an advantage in pure sturdy strength, but a lighter rider like Lavender may turn the tides with a mare or a fleet destrier that can get under their guard. Though... mmm." He looks contemplative for a moment. "Traditionally, the joust was a Knight's sport. I wonder how many young wilders there may be who would dream of it, but lack the means or title to compete."

A brow "Tell me we're not callingg this 'knight school'?" But her eyes sparkle at her wordplay

"Do you think that there is merit in such an endeavor? I admit, it appeals as a way to encourage new equestrian interest, and in training riders, one trains horses as well. I cannot deny personal self-interest, beyond philanthropic ideals."

"I think it could be briliant. It's an extension of what you've done for Lavender, not that she has not earned it. A chance to train your own mounted warriors, increase interest in horses which you manage the best sampling of, and create a sense of community? I think it will take work and planning but yes, brilliant"

"Let us work on it together. Perhaps it may be a larger project, on a grander scale. We are hardly the only hold that breeds or loves horses. Merely... the best one." A smile.

"Merely that" A wink, "And yes. Why Dagmar told me of a hold that helps autistic children with horses. That's a bit more than we're trained for, the autism, but it's not without merit to use horses to muse some mortals if need be. Annd train the young wilders and childlings in new skills."

"Perhaps, if there are children with other disabilities... or adults. As we saw with Tiberius, riding can make one feel whole, and free. It's never too late to dream again."

"No" her eyes shine brightly "It never is too late" She adores him anyway, but with her seeliness upon her, he seems almost a dashing figure

She is learning more about his summer side, which is a part of him. And she revels in the intimacy of that.

They walk together back to the manor, where the party continues.... children eventually conking out in cozy corners or couches, fires lit and leapt over. Further feasting and exploring, learning about each other, and about this hold, starting to thaw and grow.
