Luckily for Nadeen, Beltane is not Samhain, masked by the mists. She can remember... and remembers Aiden listening - more then listening, really hearing, and thinking over her words. And more, he doesn't dismiss her ideas, but welcomes them. He speaks wistfully of dreams he had once, long ago - before a wife and child, and even before he was Freeholder and Baron of Silverwolf, back when Aiden the lordling had more freedom, and in some ways, less. Days when even a silver Dragon was once young and unsure, and filled with hopes for the future.
Though he is hesitant to make any promise, he does not reject her hopes of being more, more to him, and more to the hold. Rather, he takes it in, tasting the concept, and finding it sweeter than the honeyed wine they share quite a few glasses of, and even building upon her ideas. Is it a lasting dream, one that may come true, or fleeting like the sweetness of a summer rain? Hard to say... but in the moment, it felt like anything may be possible.
