Adam blinks, a little startled at the abrupt change, but .... well, he knows a bit about satyr nature. He recovers quickly.

Briar grins to Gwen. "I bet we'd've had a fight if HE was here." The hero worship Gwen feels for Dagmar, there's a hint in Briar's voice too!

And while it's quickly clear he doesn't know THAT much about horses, he is wiling to listen and learn!
