Jimmy says "Ah... " He apologizes, and hands over a slim book. How to win friends and influence people? "It had useful tips" Then he takes her hand blushing 'Dance still on?"

"Oh foo on that. Just dance with me" DLorean says

Adam can agree with that agenda and.... you know, he's not bad!

Bluebell smiles, and takes him for a spin! "You're a nice fellow, Jimmy."

Sergei escorts Calanthe out, "Your partry is a success"

Nadeen looks at AIDEN "We should" Pleased sparkle in her eyes. Her nose wrinkle is adorable

COLTON moves with Sylvi "Did I mention I love the dress?"

"A nighttime ride?" He asks. "The horses will need to be taken back to their stables, and the woods are just as lovely under the moonlight as the sunset." Even now, he does think about the horses first. Well, maybe not first, but... equally. Is that something she could make peace with?

"Thanks," Sylvi says. "I wasn't sure about it, but..." she glances around at the rest of the group. "It seems like Nadeen guided me right."

Nadeen chuckles at something "Ah well... I would not want you to be who you are not. " And she smiles "A bit of a walk to get the last of the scotch out of me. I would not fall and embarrass myself. But if you promise to take care of me, yes, I will ride with you"

"Keep that down," Colton says "Wouldn't want her to get a swelled head" A smile, then "I think the thane is trying to woo my Chieftain" That low and careful

Blue bell dances beautifully alone.. oh wait. .no, where di that piskie come from?

Linnea is leaning in to listen to something that the Chieftain says over the song, and laughs, pounding the table with a hand!

"He doesn't look all that upset about it," Sylvi points out.

"So this is not a military threat?" Colton half jokes

Aiden carefully takes Nadeen's arm, and stands, "Then we shall ride." Agreeing with her, and slipping out between songs.

"Let's hope not," Sylvi replies, then sighs. "If this all turns out to be a plot to lull us into a false sense of security, I'm gonna be pissed."

Nadeen glows, this time less with liquor the blood, and more with happiness in the soul

The mortal boy is able to translate the emotion of the song into movement, to a greater extent than not. Of course, he's not on par with a professional, or with any Fae who really connects to music, but for who he is, he not only holds up his own end of things, he can also help showcase his partner.

Connor has danced and danced and danced, and now is half-asnooze on a chair.

Briar snuck back out and is finishing the desserts.

"It is now, yes" D'Lorean says

"I'm okay with this agenda," she murmurs, and nuzzles back. As the emissary, she really should be mingling more...but that's another way this party is different from expected.

Gwen is eating quietly "Hey, Briar"

She looks up, "No one was eatin' these so they were going bad!" She puffs up, defensive at first - then realizes it's just Gwen. A belch. "Where'd you go?"

She says "Well...to escape dancing. I chickened out" She admits "Then I found that the wine was n't delivered." A shake of her head

"They started drinking the cham-paggy instead, and the campfire juice. Smells all smokey, tastes like you licked an ashtray at a bar."

That sounds like the voice of experience. Does Gwen really want to know? Maybe not.

Hewitt's turn to laugh at something his own dance partner says "Oh you got me there"

GWEN asks Briar, "Where did Dagmar go?"

Briar picks a shard of plate she accidently ate out from between her teeth. "Dunno? She wasn't dancing. I left when they got all stupid about it."

"It's beautiful."

"Maybe we could have invited Dirk. He was COOL." She says, belatedly thinking of it.

Sylvi finally feels the need to take a break from the dancing. "Woo! I need some water."

"It is.. smaller than some but I like it. The horses here are the best" D'Lorean says

Adam compliments the surroundings.

"I'll get you some" Colton says knowing his part and sjmiling "Have a seat"

"Maybe" At mention of Dirk "Damn.. he was brutal in a fight though"

At some point someone has replaced the scotch with only the lighter champagne, and set out pitchers of water and glasses as well.

"I dunno about that, Dame. Our horses at EarthRunes are pretty good." Adam smiles.

Sylvi does take a seat, and she scans the room. She's no boggan, but she knows a little about social dynamics. Besides that, it's easy to notice that some folks are missing.
