Frank keeps an eye on the bird.

And up Brekke and Heartbalm go.... the glass shatters they go up...

and the pigeon Frank was following with his eyes starts up a cantrip, twirling to build up a bunk

Heartbalm releases his spell "Surrender!"

And the redcap reels... then? He shakes it off and bites!

The Liam sidhe cries out as he's chomped into but fortunately it takes only the surface of the sidhe's shoulder

Brekke aims to bring Speaker down directly on the redcap's head.

Frank throws his ever-handy tire tapper at the bird, trying to peg it.

The bird was not exactly ready for that, and Frank ruins it's cantrip, good thing too, for the pyretic spell that was about to engulf Frank's wife fizzles instead!

And while it's distracted, Frank grabs at it; not to crush, but to catch.

Anyone else might face chimerical death, but the redcap is tough... he's merely mauled

That's satisfactory. Who else is in the room?

Frank grabs the pooka, and with his eyes on it, it's having trouble changing. His grip is steel!

(Perception plus Alertness for Brekke)

Frank takes it back toward the truck which stand with the hood up. He holds it where he can see it, glancing occasionally towards the apartment, trying to keep up the fiction that he's stopped for car trouble.

"Flame free sentya? " The cat pooka fusses and the gun is out, "Ask her if her mother is bullet proof... the blood of Patriots must feed the cat tree of liberty" she's about to shoot the only mortal in the room

Heartbalm calls out "TO ME!" Another dictum of sorts?

Brekke simultaneously makes a quick gesture with her silver hand, a shaking movement that might catch a cat's eye, and casts a Fuddle to make her think the mortal is five feet to the left of her actual position. Quick and dirty, but hopefully enough.

The results are intersting... the fuddle is not enough to overwhelm Calbells (She has other name) will power ,but the dictum, it demands the bullets attention! The bullets are fired, they curve, and strike a HeartBalm who is wyrded so his armor can take SOME of the damage. .. but maybe the fuddle worked after all, for the bullets miss him entirely! He risked his life, but it turned out he didn't pay the price. Sometimes sidhe are so clearly loved by Da'an it can make commoners cry

FRANK has his prisoner... the sounds of GUN FIRE catch his ears

"Suffering Hemorrhoids In Traction!" Annabelle or whatever her real name is calls out

The redcap snaps at Brekke from the side but hee's so hurt he misses badly all on his own

The redcap gets a solid kick for his trouble, then she grabs for Calbell.

NOW the redcap is out for good

Calbel twists away but drops the gun ... she mutters something "Freedom's caul, one and all...once more into the breach"

The pigeon gets an uncomfortable squeeze before Frank remembers himself, and he abandons the pretense of car trouble, moving to the street-side of the truck, staring hard up at the apartment. He only just manages not to go running.

The pigeon is Squeezed out... of breath, and out cold. Which is fine, Frank moves to the side of the truck

Brekke grumbles right back: "Oak and Ash and Thorn, reach and then reform." She casts Eldrich Prime to draw grasping vines from whatever wood items are in the room, to tangle Calbel.

Calbel gets tangled! But not before HER cantrip goes off, a hopscotch on not herself, but Regina!

Regina goes OUT the window and starts to fall, sure to face a horrid death ...

well, there IS a troll out there named Frank, but who bothers to save an Ex?

"FRANK! CATCH!"

Frank tosses the bird into the cab of the van and moves forward to catch whatever's coming.

It's Regina, she's the whatever..

Well, not the first time he's caught her like this... well, not -quite- like this but....

Frank leaps up, and troll legs are strong, plus his height meant he had a head start... it's a three story drop, but he goes up a fair distance, catches her and lands. She grunts in pain but he keeps her head from snapping back

Brekke reaches into the vines and presses a hand across Calbel's mouth to keep her from any verbal bunks while she's wrapped up. "Heartbalm! Try again." She hopes another dictum will finally get traction.

He cradles her as gently as he can, and, returning to earth, takes her to the van.

Heartbalm tries another "Traitor to teacher, ruler, and innocent mortal, you who cause pain with a sneer and a chortle... Slumber now, and do not arise, until I free you eyelids be your skies!"

Regina is actually enchanted, but also passed out. She doesn't seem as cold as she could be but he doubt it will last long

And Calbel enters a magical slumber cursing... then snoring.

"Please tell me Regina lived?" He turns and sees Frank below "Oh thank God"

"She lives?" Brekke is peeling vines away from Calbel.

"I think so... she's in Sir Frank's arms"

"If she were dead, I think we would hear him from here." She hoists Calbel unceremoniously over one shoulder. "Gather whatever materials might serve as evidence."

And it is gathered... soon enough , Brekke is down below with the ringleader in her hands, and rejoining Frank
