Perhaps the boggan has noticed the van pulling over and the passenger wrestling with a paper road map...a sign of travelers in need if there ever was one.

As he's on Frank's side, Brekke looks to Frank to roll down the window and ask the kithain over.

Which he does.

And Frank nods and greets him. "Afternoon."

"Hey man, how's it hanging?"

"Well enough, considering we're new in town. Where should we know about?"

He looks around, then closes and says "You looking for some warmth? Some place to hold?"

Brekke takes a moment to look around and see if this conversation is being observed by anybody else.

"Exactly." Frank rumbles.

It's San Diego, folks are plentiful, but half of them are wearing earbuds.

At this moment, that works in their favor.

The boggan says "I get you, always nice to know where to go. Look, if you want a ...common place to stay? Or something a bit more 'official'?"

Brekke considers, then says quietly to Frank, "Someplace where seelie are at least tolerated."

"I've been to both, in the past. Long time ago." Frank admits with a nod that Brekke knows means he heard her "How about Cal-Bel?"

Probably not visible from the boggan's angle, Brekke's brows go up, but she doesn't comment.

"Cal Bel? That's not a place... that's.." And the boggan backs up

"Look, if you guys are working with who it sounds like you're working with, you need to stay away from Baron Gruffydd's hold. He doesn't tolerate that crowd"

Frank shakes his shaggy head in the negative "We're not working for anyone. Freelancers."

"OKAY... the Baron is a Gwydion, he lives at the Palace Minutia ..." he names a street. "But if you want ... more ...radical solutions in life? There's Hell's Cave... lot of redcaps there. Somewhere in between is Tudi's Tours.. by the docks" He gives directions for all

Brekke notes all the locations on the map. "Thank you."

"And that other name?" Frank presses gently.

"Other Name?"

"I told you the holds names, dude. If you mean the name YOU mentioned? Forget it. I don't get involved in that"

"Well, no shame in that." Frank allows.

"Just.. the ends do NOT Justify the means. Besides, I just know the rumors" And with that he looks at Brekke "You're welcome, stay cool" And turns

"Be well," she says in reply as she jots down a few notes.

Frank glances at Brekke Get him back?

She meets his glance and shakes her head.

The boggan is making a quick pace, as if he is now spooked

"We have enough to start with. A Gwydion baron will likely be welcoming."

"Thank you." Frank answers the boggan as he scoots off, and rolls up his window "Still want that truck stop?"

"I think it makes more sense to go to the baron and request haven, then speak to whatever archivist they may have there."

They do have directions at least.

Frank nods. "Read me the directions." as he puts the car in gear and pulls out "Keep an eye out, too."

She nods and begins to do so.

And as they head that way, they come up to... a Tiny House business? Samples and displays , custom made, creative... and.. tiny

And one of them... is a Freehold!

Brekke blinks at it and checks the map. "This is the place."

"Ah. There."

Frank finds a place to park. "Hopefully it's bigger on the inside."

"We may need to camp outside otherwise."

The area feels of a sense of justice and provision, it kens not for love of craft, but of a lord's need to provide roofs, ANY Roof, for his subjects
