The nice thing about being small is , folks don't always look down. This lady is no troll, but she is tall for a sidhe. She is muttering "Lovely, they must have found it. Damn Kings have the luck of a black cat in Scotland. Still, we live to try again." She goes to a wall. An outter wall.

She takes out her lip stick, and begins to draw something that looks like a circle..o h, like a door knob, on the wall

And she's working glamour!

Loud, high-pitched, like a damn siren.

WELL! THAT JUST DOES IT!

First of all, impassioned sidhe are powerful, and that goes for childlings! The SCREAM causes lady High feather to drop her lip stick! She sees the girl and goes "Now honey, I can clean that up... just stop yelling" BIG Smile

"Nuh-uh. You are going to WAIT QUIETLY." Ellie hits back with her own glamour - backed by a big title packed into tiny body.

Glamour, Childlings got! And Eleanor, while she seldom uses it, is versed in it's use, and also? She's a countess! Lady Highfeather is a sidhe!

And that means title means.. oh, just about everything!

Suddenly the Peacock adorned lady catches at her throat, and whispers "Oh no. no no no..." She can't leave.. she can't portal passage, she can't even walk away. "You let me go from this right now, young lady" a whisper, trying to use the 'adult' voice on her, but that doesn't sound so impressive when you're as quiet as a sluagh

"I think you were doing something you oughtn't."

"Somebody will come looking soon. And eventually, Yessica."

At that, Lady Highfeather's face pales "How about" she tries, "You say it was all an accident, and let me go from this, and I give you some candy? I have turkish delight in a bag. YUMMY Turkish delight"

"Mi amiga Salma already read me Narnia, Lady."

Indeed, Salma's training serves well, for Ellie has learned all about the 'Breakfast of champions Traitors'

Besides, churros are clearly superior.

That's when foosteps race down the hall , Dame Ash with sword drawn

"Dama Ash! Come quickly!"

"Busted by a Beaumayn brat" Lady Highfeather hisses, then draws a knife, a chimerical one to be fair, and moves to take Ellie hostage... but the LEanhaun finds she can't move from her spot.. WAIT still in effect. "Come near me, and I throw it at your precious ward, Dame Ash. I will be leaving"

Dame Ash's eyes flare dangerously "You hurt the child and you'll find your future very bleak"

"We are waiting quietly for Yessica." Prim. "Waiting quietly means we are being well-behaved young ladies."

Footsteps from behind the childling...someone else to the rescue?

A hiss, as the Leanhaun struggles to apply HER Definition and not Ellie's Ad lib! For a moment it seems she'll break free of that part and wait but still throw...

A saucy tilt of her chin. Oh, she might be young, but her soul is every inch as ancient and powerful as Highfeather's.

Then suddenly "Pardon me, your excellency" A figure in black and gold has stepped between Ellie and Highfeather's knife "Please, stay behind me. We shall let Dame Ash handle it from here"

The attempt is ... noble, for the Varich to intercede like that. Noble, but not needed as the knife shakes in Lady Highfeather's hand! What if it makes noise when she throws it? It.. damn it!

"They're trying to frame me, Taras" She implores her fellow unseelie , pouting and doing.. adult stuff with her eyes

"I did not give you leave to address me in the familiar," Tidemarch ssneers, and does it really well. If Ellie wants sneering lessons, he would be a good teacher "Nor am I a fool. Wiles are wasted on me. At least yours are"

And a beamayn blade now is close to Lady Highfeather's neck "Give me the knife, or I'll cut your throat and apologize to her excellency after."

Ellie looks between the adults, taking in and processing the exchange. (Conclusion: Grown ups remain weird.)

As Jessica comes in , she sees quite a gathering in the hallway, Thanes all about ,weapons ready... and.. Dame Ash disarming Lady Highfeather by swordpoint. The Baron Tidemarch standing between Highfeather and Ellie

And yet, Ellie looks... triumphantly in control for a little girl, but then again, she is a Countess of Beaumayn

Jess arrives at a run, like a blue avalanche.

Even redcaps know to get out of her way

"Ask Troubadour Bevara to join us. Now." she growls.

Ellie picks up the tube of lipstick. "Countess Yessica, our guest was trying to Portal Passage away. I thought it would be best if we waited for you. It is rude to leave without saying goodbye. Dama Ash and Baron Tidemarch provided most admirable and prompt assistance."

The Gwydion troubadour soon arrives. She has a blade by her hip
