"Oh, hm, well... this was during his fosterage, you see. So I know a bit about the fellowship, but not many details." She says, apologetically. "Perhaps this might be a better conversation with his lordship?"

"But let's see... There was Aiden, of course, and Treyvon, and Calanthe naturally.. Bishop, and I believe..." She is checking her memory.. "Oh, what was the lady's name..."

"I suppose it must be" She finishes her drink. And while still listening grabs something from a corner "Bishop?"

"Briana? Briala? She had the sweetest voice. Oh, blast my memory." A smile and a nod. "Oh, yes. Nickname, of course, but he was a prodigy at Chess and games of chance."

"Were they all Sidhe?" She takes the box over and puts it before Marigold

"Actually, no. You see..." She looks at the box, but then pauses, and listens. "Oh, I think I hear Gertrude. Would you mind, I just want to put on the pot for some cocoa- oh, no, where IS my mind? It's so warm today. Let me get something refreshing ready..."

"I don't mind at all" She looks amused and looks out the window

Chime! There was a Never in the kitchen?

"Begging your pardon!" Marigold adds belatedly with a bob of a curtsey, and she hurries into the kitchen, ready to swat at any pesky never-bugs with a spoon, if need be!

Thistle heads straight for her studio, retrieving something before heading for the house. Muppet tails at her heels.

"So many Nevers, I wonder how Briar resisists"

A faint, high pitched creeling noise, like a baby bird.

Drowned out though, as a blender whirrs in the kitchen!

Indeed - the dragonet is cradled in her (now gloved) hands as she heads for the kitchen. "Marigold?"

"Yeeessss?" the voice of the boggan projects over the Vitamix, a Yule present from the Baron, which has quickly turned fresh strawberries, cream, and ice cream into a lovely pink color that is being poured into a tall glass. "Come in, come in. Have a milkshake."

"You made milkshakes?" A pleased lift in her tone. "I guess I could have one, thanks." (Chime!?)

"I'll ask her, you wait."

"Hello, Thistle"

"Oh, Your Excellency." A hasty bob as she enters the kitchen. Something is cradled in her hands, currently covered with cupped fingers.

A wary glance around, and checking for Nevers before she pours - after one impish fellow once pushed a glass out of the way to see if he could catch a drink in his mouth, she always checks.

"Baroness, strawberry milk- What is THAT?" Marigold says, clearly surprised!

A smile "Excellency is a Countess. But the respect is appreciated'"

Another high-pitched squeak - not the sound of a never, certainly. Although Briar might argue that you never heard one getting squished in a vice?

"OH. Um. Shit. I forgot the Baroness one."

"Just wait, I'm gonna ask." She tells her hands.

Hands on her hips, and brow raised. "Just what there have you brought into my kitchen?" Not upset, but a bit taken aback, and yes, curious!

"Lady might do..and please answer Marigold"

"I... we think it's a dragon?"

"He hatched in my kiln. And he didn't want any more skittles, but I think he's hungry?"

"Oh my word"

"He might be a she."

"He seems a bit stunted" A concerned look

"Marigold, please give Thistle and this little creature the help they need. If it's a dragon then, well, this is an Ailil hold."

She squints. "He just hatched yesterday. So of course he's small."

"Well, that's promising" She observes

"Oh, bless my soul, if that isn't an ugly little thing." She cannot help, but then adds, dusting off her hands, "But then again, everyone here came into this world red, wet, and squalling, so who are we to judge? "

"Exactly. Even the dogs are kinda awkward potatoes for the first few days."

Stunted and misshapen, one of the legs seems a bit shorter than the other, which makes it hard for it, him? To sit up. With stubby tail as a third balance point he manages, and shows that one part of him is strong, at least, pink maw opened wide. "Eeeeeee!"

"One second, Fornax! Marigold will know what's best for you."

She ponders "A bit of glamour in some food might feed it both ways"

"Don't let Gwen hear you say that, she thinks they all drop gilden from their dam onto silken pillows." Marigold chuckles. "A voice on that one, it has. Well, what does a draconet eat? I haven't the slightest clue. But... let me see. I've nursed a few pups that failed to thrive over the years, let me see what I can put together. You two, go, set up in the sitting room and give me some room to work, shoo, shoo."

Thistle finds herself shoo'd out, but with milkshake! "And you, go see the Baron, he hasn't checked in for lunch, he's been watching a broody mare." Nadeen is handed a lunch box and ALSO shoo'd away!

The door closes firmly behind them, and Marigold is heard at work.

Nadeen mmphs , then says to Thistle "Amazing find, my dear. I hope he or she is a good omen"

And off she goes

A droplet of condensation drips down the side of the milkshake glass, temptingly.
