When the baron is gone, Wudlig looks at Willy "SOOOO... ah, how do we want to divide furking mentor duties?"

A soft chime behind them as a pair of Nevers steal a gherkin - flying off to the unknown while letting off high-pitched musical giggles.

He sighs "Got to perfect that container/Decoy"

"Hmmph." Willy scowls at the flighty things, and turns back to Wudlig "You know that kid is hard-broke, right? Brittle as iron. She's all gummed up in her Art AND Craft. Some Autumn guy screwed her over."

"I heard something like that... problem is, the Baron wants us to teach her craft while others handle the therapy ... and her broke ness affectts her craft work... so I'm not sure how we break that cycle" A troubled look "She's brittle, but sharp. Has a crreaive mind"

"Yeah, brittle but sharp equals SHARDS." the blacksmith says "We're fucked."

"Maybe. We should at least try. Since when do Aces like US shrinnk from a project?" A pause "that said, maybe she'll do better with you since you're both furking ladies? Sisterhood and all that drek?"

"Yeah, yeah." She agrees defeatedly. "You -know- we ain't good at fixin' people." she doom-says.

"Yeah. I'm just girly as all get-out." she deadpans after.

"We'll try."

"No shit. My mug tends to scare folks...." He ponders tthen grins at her deadpan effort before noddingg "We try." A scowl "too bad we can't make some golem therapist, but the Bes Dinn would nneve approve"

"Therapist. Hmmph." Willy dismisses this idea. "She's all over the place with her crafting, too, which ain't a -bad- thing strictly speaking." thoughtfully "I mean.... she got burned at school, I think, some teacher? So now she's doing everything BUT."

"Her work ain't complete drek, sometimes." grudgingly.

"KId's pottery is something and that ain't drek"

"Yeah, you know, that's weird. She didn't want to mess with the kiln, but I saw her eyes; she -craved- messing with the kiln."

"Furk... she's in a loop. Honesttly, I am not a violent man, but sometimes I wish I created sniper scopes with Rifles forr Autumn Person elimination"

"Wish in one hand, shit in the other, see which gits full first." pragmatically.

"pew! Pew!" Tingling laughter as a couple Nevers now act out a western-style drama with finger guns and dramatic deaths, all midair.

"Idjits."

"Yeah, if you beat two never heads together you might get ONE idea..." He says "But if there is a Never tech, Thisltle is on it"

"Didn't I hear somethin' 'bout that?" HOW she would have heard is a mystery but.....

"She's the one who stream lined the Never containment and distracion array. "

"Great. Now we just gotta get her to want to put that kinda drek in a flowerpot and she should be good to go."

"Mmm maybe time with her little brottherr will help her? She lovees the little snot rubber"

"Help her craft?" a shrug "Sure, worth a shot."

"In the mean time... what days do you want to take her and me the others? I'd like saturday night for my girlfiend"

"YER GIIRRR.... " Willy puts her her hands "Nope, nevermind, fine. Saturday Special, all yours. Tell ya what, let's do weekdays so everyone gets a weekend. I'll take Monday-Tuesday, you take Wednesday-Thursday, whatever other tutor she gets can take Fridays."

"Deal"

"Done."

She spits and offers her hand.

He does like wise

and shakes

"You think he was serious about those sandwiches?"

Roast beef! Turkey club! BLT! And some fancy lookin' little shits with... salmon, chives, and cream cheese spread?

Who has FOUR sandwich choices and doesn't even remember to eat? Every Nocker worth her salt knows that machines need fuel, and you don't ignore good grub when the gettin' is good.

Nope! Willy fills her pockets.

And then her mouth.

He takes the left over Turkey Club

It is, of course, fantastic. Even leftover in a pocket for a few hours!

"She IS ggood" A bite

"Yeah. Eats are pretty good around here, an' they leave you alone to work, mostly."

"I mean, this ain't no hot brown, but it ain't bad."

"Mmm Hot Brown? that's a south thing right? Gerd likes those"

"Nah, never had any acid upset from it."

"Ha" he says "Well, I thinnk we're free to get back to our own projects for now... I gotta make sure those solar panels are aligned with the proper zodiac signs"

"Yeah. Cool. I'll find Eggs and let her know.... what day is it?"

He tells her

She grins. "Sweet. Means it's YOUR day with her. See ya....." and she heads back to her workshop.
