"Hopefully not.. and it's a bit long winded to explain but.... " A breath and she .. goes on about the ancient battle known by some as the war of the trees. Of how the Kithain who would be changelings one day sided with The Tuatha to save not just the dreaming, but all worlds, and then the Formorians who sought to crush it all under their heels or break it.. and the Dark kin, and then worse.. the THalian, twisted versions of kithain who had no balance, just nightmare plus nightmare... and she explains the sort of things Goblins find 'fun' like riveting puppies to steel beams and shit. (Please insert long educational course here) and then ends with "But.. it's a kind of war in the shadows when it happens at all, and your'e not expected to sign up for combat or anything. This isn't a draft"

"Okay. She's been looking for a way to find you a Kiln, and that's when she thought you were a daughter of eve.. aka muggle whatever you want to call it. But you ARE one of us, and that comes with perks and support. Now that you're one of us, getting that just went from ' we'll see' to 'yeah we'll find a way. I'm not rich. I can't afford a horse, but I help with the stables, RIDE the horses here , thanks to the set up they have. Folks CAN Reach their dreams on their own, but it's a lot easier with the proverbial village"

"....I get a kiln just because?"

"Probably not JUST because. Remember my talk about you helping with designs for wine jugs or the like? This isn't charity, it's patronship. You'll get a better chance than you would to earn it though if you were trying this with a bank or something"
