"OH ggeez yeah, did you see Ivan , Gwenn's dog? He's not even full grown. Oh, this is Mischka, his mom. With luck she'll have puppies soon. "

"That's a bear, ma'am."

"Ha.. nno, though they're sometimes called Bear dogs because they were bred to fight bears. The breed is Ovcharka? I hope I pronounced that right. They can be fierce. See I prefer horses, but Gwen or Briar could ttell you a lot about her"

"Does it bite?"

"Good question, she's a guard dog, best to let her get your scent."

"They're an agressive breed but she's been socialized. "

"Listen, furball - no biting, okay?" She extends a knobby hand.

Mischka gives her a look as if to say "I have terds bigger than you" but sniffs with dignity

And gives a slight wag

"We can't have dogs in the apartment."

"Oh well, you can always visit ours tthey..." SHe turns "Oh yeah... there's the Glens... "

Indeed, one has come out to inspect Katrina...

"Hey! Personal space!" The terrier is sniffy and waggish!

scruffy, sturdy, low-slung terrier, There's nothing fancy or fussed-over about this dog. wiry no-frills coat, broad head, and bowed front legs suggest a working farm dog from a time and place where substance was more important than style. Yet it's adorable

She tries the offer-a-hand trick.

"Believe or not, these are CALMER than most terrier breeds. Quieter too"

"Gwen's been training them..."

"Don't need no yip-yap dogs..."

She tries petting the terrier.

The Glen which looks liked of like Jim Henson decided to make a 'realistic dog muppet', gives a sniff and wags furiously in the tail even as it the front looks more restrained

Oh that it likes!

"You're a real runty thing."

Ear-scritchies.

"That one's a snuggler..."

"Yeah, dumbass dog." The jibes are there, but she continues petting the dumbass.

The Dumbass dog might surprise her as she switches hands, the dogg thinks she's stopping and sits up like she's never seenn a dog do before

Snort of laughter. "(*&%&^, you're just a muppet dog."

"Okay, Gwen didn't tell me they did that"

"Apparently they're a super rare breed, though.." She lowers her voice "To me they look like scruffy mutts"

The Glen arcs an ear at this slander.. and nearly falls over from the head tilt

"Oh yeah. Total mongrel. Somebody got scammed for cash." Another laugh as he topples. "Dumbass."

"I think that one likes you," Dee observes, "Come on, what do you want to see next? The hawks and falcons, or you want to o inside and see the ballroom or kitchen?"

"Inside!"

"Come on..." They go in.. only to realize they picked up a straggler "Dumbass" gets put back out "You know the rules, only personal pets get in here.. like Ivan, Pyschka or Fort"

A wistful look under very furry eyebrows avails the pooch not (At least not with the horse lover), and soon Dee is showing off the kitchen, ball room, and so much more
