Chloe, wearing a sharp suit of summer-weight fabrics that flows even while it expresses power, strides to the hotel bar at a measured pace. Those who know her other-self would see the lioness stalking her prey.

Two men notice her, one thinks of approaching her, but his buddy stops him and mutters "Redhead with a mission, just hold still and blend in the background until she's gone"

Chelsea looks up and sees Chloe , then says "Oh it's you"

At the bar, she orders a straight whiskey, top-shelf. Then a glance at Chelsea. "It is, yes."

"So, 3 days is up" She says coolly "just about"

"Is it? I hadn't been keeping track." A lie, but there's no Gwydion about. "So what exactly happens next for you? I might have a lead...."

"Next, you cover for me, so I donn' spill, and I'm set until mom and dad get over it" She glares "And I'm really tired of you and your hubby trying to ask my life path"

Chloe smiles slightly. "Oh, is that what's next? Hm." She sips her whiskey, an amused look on her face.

"Come on, Chloe, you started this. You slashed my tires, which admitedly is the most 'you' thing I've seen you do, but you had to know there's be payback"

An easy shrug. "The tires are replaced. Saw to that the same day. But I sure wasn't going to let you decide that another driver or pedestrian was as expendable as a fisherman...." Another sip.

"Please, I wasn' even drunk" A beat "no t that drunk. And what business of it is yours anyway? Maybe I'm careless, sure, but you're the cruel one" A reminding tone

A pause as she swirls her whiskey in her glass. "The old Chloe was, certainly. She's...changed. You haven't. And you've hardly been a poster-child for virtue, have you?"

She sets down her glass and takes out her phone. It may seem that she's disinterestedly sending a text as she taps the screen.

"Please, I don't need virtue, I have popularity"

"Oh, do you? What are you popular for, exactly?" Casual.

"I'm an influencer" She reminds "Because I know what the people want" Flatly "I know the trends"

"Mmm." She taps her screen again, and the sounds of sexual activity blare from its speaker. She turns the screen so Chelsea can see the video of her and the guy she must have forced into the act.

Her eyes widen "Where the... "Then she looks aroundn to make sure no one else can see "So.. A woman's allowed to..."

She keeps the phone out of Chelsea's reach.

And she taps to stop the video.

And she DOES try to reach for it just as it starts to use the racial slur it is paused

Annd her eyes go VERY wide

"There's more to it. You have the most interesting sex language."

"Shall I share more? To remind you?"

"Just roleplay, that's all" but her dear cousin is sweating "no!"

She's ready to hit play again, one finger poised.

"Where did you get that?" She hisses

That finger circles in the air over her phone, teasing. "See...if I hit play, all the people in this room will hear you. And if I don't send a message to a friend of mine in the next ten minutes, he's going to automatically post this to just about every online platform imaginable. And alert the press."

She gives a faux-innocent shrug. "I'm not much good with tech, but I have friends who are."

For a moment Chelsea looks like she might strike a her younger cousin, but then, her rage meets her fears, and as she is not Fiona, or even a particularly brave woman, her fears win "What do you want?"

Her finger moves away from the screen, and she picks up her glass again....swirl...sip.

"I want a few things. Quite a few."

Her cousin sweats a bit "Oh come on, I'll drop the horse stories, that's even right?"

"One: Yes, you drop any stories about the past of Chloe DuBois. You don't even mention them in private. If you do and I hear about it? Boom...that video hits the top of everybody's recommendations."

"Done"

"Two: You go to see that fisherman and apologize to him face-to-face, and you listen to what your idiocy cost him."

"Oh come on... I don't know if he even speaks English"

Yes, she's whining. She's well past the age it should work

She raises both brows, and she makes a gesture towards the phone again.

"Fine!" Petulant

She relents and nods.

"Three: My mother is going to call you soon, and she's going to offer you a chance at a job. She says it's easy work. You're going to take it, and you're going to do the work to keep it."

"For how long?" Horrorified

Again that amused look, as if she's toying with the notion of being cruel. And Chelsea knows that Chloe can be cruel. Then she seems to relent. "I was going to say five years...but I'll settle for one. Don't like it? Well, I'm sure that fisherman doesn't like being in the hospital, but he doesn't get a say in that, does he? So...yes, a year. Spend that time to figure out how you can take care of yourself without being a unlikable parasite."

A mutter "You're still a bitch. You just love having power over someone. You always did, but like I have a choice"

She doesn't deny it. She just takes another sip of her drink. And it may occur to Chelsea that Chloe hasn't sent the message to her friend that would stop the video from being released. Has it been ten minutes...?

"Hey, I agree already " Alarm as she connects that "Stop the thing"

"Mm. One last thing. If you ever show up at my family's mansion again uninvited, that video gets shared. Same thing if you go after anybody I care about. Don't be stupid, because I'm keeping this thing as insurance for a long...long...time."

That said, she slowly taps on her screen, sending a text message.
