And she bows

“It is a cruel and vile thing. It must be unwoven and released.” He whispers, desperately, up to Sparrow.

Should I bite her? A spider asks

She looks between the two.

"It belongs to this hold, and thus, it belongs to me."

“If this is your heritage, think HARD on what you cling to. This is your confederate flag!”

She extends her non-sword hand towards Nadeen.

Nadeeen looks at him and glares, then looks to Sparrow "Please, Baroness Derynwydd. At least allow me a chance to bargain for it?"

But she hands it over

"I will consider a petition. But now is not that time. I have much to assess here, and I will not have some ancient grudge slapfight."

Symon looks at the Baroness. His dark eyes sunken and defeated. He crumples inwardly.

Nadeen stiffens at that, her pride pricked, but she inclines her head "Right of Demense"

She nods back. "Right of Demense."

"Enjoying your new hold, Baroness?" A jaunty voice

Wings mantle and she looks for the voice.

And Siv tumbles onto the ledge then bows "the parasites are removed, Baroness.The people are free."

"Are... are they here?"

"Any thallain should be placed in the dungeons until they may be judged..."

Jacob waves as he too clambers on the ledge "Gday, govnah" Miming urchin ala cockney

And Siv says "Your people.." She gestures below "Gather... "

And below, dozens of former prisoners, be it by cell, or by tattoo... now gather.. around the corpse of their former lord. And they cheer!

“Jacob?” He blinks, wondering if his black eye is affecting his vision. “Lilly’s not here, is she?!”

A little noise as she clears her throat.

Siv calls down, using her Pennons voice "This is your savior, your rescuer, your liberator, your new Baroness... if you would have her! Derynwydd Ogresbane Truthbranch! The Sparrow!"

CHEEERS break out again and calls of "Baroness" "The SPArrow, the sparrow!" And "DerynwyddDerynwyddDerynwydd!"

Her wings fidget, but.. she knows her role. She steps forward to wave, to let the people see her.

Soon, there will be more work - hard work, learning this place, and fixing it... but for the moment, Presence must be enough.

Her beauty was neveer so radiant than it was when it shined now with freedom's glory

"wouldn't you like to know" Jacob says "oh, you're in trouble"

And Symon gets scratched at the ankle

“I know.” He whispers to Jacob, and a hand goes down to bury into Lovecraft fur. “I failed. Let’s go.” Retreating, with the attention on Sparrow.

Nadeen sighs and Sluagh can hear her mutter between chants "always a brides maid, never a bride"

Jacob says "You didn't fail. the chain is no longer in balor hands" He whispers "And we know exactly where it is. Don't be dumb"

Tricked by CHICKEN? Lovecraft doesn't seem to care about the chain. It's the principle

And orders go out, Sparrow's will be done! Thallian and the old Baron's brutes learn what the inside of a cell is like

Symon just shrugs. He’s not in the mood to argue with a kid right now. Aiming to make his escape before anyone thinks to tell him he must stay.

Siv looks around "Where's my kiss?"

Jonas turns from a hawk, to a man, and looks at her "Seriously? In front of..."

She kisses HIM

The sluagh are being ignored as Sparrow meets the locals. So is Nadeen, for the moment.

Nadeen seems to be preparing to leave,checking her pocket, then nodding

"Siv, Jonas... can I ask you to stay for now? I... I think I will need a hand in the next few days..."

"I..." Siv stops "Can I go home for thansk giving?" A request, not a no

"Well, that would be Thursday... so, yes. But I think tomorrow might be complicated. I have some people I could ask to come here, and I'm going to have to tell Coradel..."

Siv says "Well.. I DID kind of get you into this. Didn't I?" Sheepish

"Just a little, hm?"

"Feel like I should ask for a boon and maybe a funky medal.." Siv grins "But.. sure. I can do that. I might send for Piper. She'd get a kick out of this view"
