Whatever her thoughts might be, Brekke applauds LOUDLY for her daughter.

Sylvi gets on her feet and cheers. "WOOOOO! Siv!!!"

The Chieftain does note, with some satisfaction, that Rivervale's reputation seems to be getting revised.

Siv comes to the side of back stage and grabs Piper and kisses her big!

Piper throws herself up into Siv's embrace with a squeal and smooch! "You were amazing!"

The next performance is an attempt at a steampunk hula hoop kind of.. whirly twirly freestyle.. the nocker does well, with the hooop spreading steam like smoke... until a gasket pops and she's sent off to the side!

Briar is a little disappointed that there wasn't an explosion. STILL miffed that she was in the can when the earlier one went off, but at least she had deniability when the thanes were looking for someone to blame.

The announcer comes out to to inform everyone that "Miss Steamsprocket is okay.. nothing a heatherbalm can't fix"

Gwen says "holy snot. Did you see how she shot to the side? "

"We should set up a target next time!"

"One day they should put you in charge of a Pennons, Briar.It'd be like a cross between the Olympics, a talent show, and the hunger games" Gwen observes

Bluebell makes her way over to Nadeen, and offers her a white rose with a smile. "To see the world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a flower, hold thy love within thy palm, and luck shines on your hour." A wink, for good luck.

"Bluebell, it's hard to resent you" Nadeen says taking the flower, "But at this point I think I risk being the weakest link. I hope.. I hope I impress Dagmar and Aiden"

Aiden watches from the stands, and raises a hand in a small wave if she catches his eye, knowing she may not see his smile from the stage.

The next performance is a break dancing sluagh guy , his ear muffs are on, but it doesn't affect his spider like scramble.

Symon scowls from under the bleachers. "He could at least do some knife throwing like an assassin. Poisoned blades."

He ponders whether ball bearings or grease would be more discrete before Nadeen's performance, and settles on just watching and hoping for an undignified trip.
