A start of sound as the music picks up, and she startles with it. Trumpets and horns, the sound heralding the start of a hunt! Eyes widen, body quivers with withheld energy, and she is up! Darting - here, there... long-legged leaps to land on slippered tip-toes, arms outstretched for balance then drawn quickly in to maintain a small footprint. A dance, an acting performance, the skill of a mime, effortlessly painting the surroundings and setting the scene.
Moving along with the twists of the music, she bends, twirling, spinning - even without any fuddle or magic, the scene is visible - the wooded glade, the creature at bay - a trill of notes could be a hunting dog's bay, and her ears go back as she trips! The crowd may gasp, but it was part of the dance, and she is up again, leaping - here over a log, there step-step-stepping, stones over a river, the hunted creature flees.
