"Silver Wolf?" Dirk rolls his eyes "Yeah, heard of you guys . So scared of a Puppy boy you drive him out. Not sure why the Chief puts up with your baron"

"HEY! Don't you talk shit about the boss!" She swells up to her almost-5' height and snarls.

"You heard her" Gwen snaps "The Baron takes care of us!"

Dirk looks at them "Does he now ? Good thing neither of you are his daughters. Bet he'd boot you off fast then..." A look at the younger cap "And what are you gonna do? " His eyes bear down "he's got you muzled... made you into a pink cap.. maybe you can draw blood, but you can taste it. Maybe that's why he didn't keep the boy, he wasn't allowed to muzzle him.. but you? maybe you like it. Now back out of my face before I turn what you got for teeth into pianoa keys, since he's already provided the wires" The Fear starts to grip the younger cap as she feels what it's like to be on the reciving end of a brow beat "This is between me... and the Brickgirl"

She tries, but quails and takes a few steps back. She can't help but mutter, "He's a badass who raises fighting dogs and killer horses! All YOUR barony raises is rejects."

"Toughest rejects in Jersey, nevere forget.."

Gwen pushes at Dirk "Back OFF!"

"But he didn't muzzle me! Gwen, you gotta make him take that back. He WOULDN'T. This shit is... fuckin'... medicinal, and someday soon I'll have it off and bite your face in two if you ever lie about my hold again." From a step behind Gwen, enboldened by the Troll wall.

As Gwen pushes, Dirk cheats... he turns to the side and all that troll muscle goes wrong and she falls, flat on her face

Dirk looks down "It's Korean shit... much better than China shit..." As if to explain "And Fuck Ninjas"

"Just you wait, if you're so hungry she'll make you eat your words! In the ring!" The dirt circle, that is.

And she moves to prod at Gwen. "Get up, okay?" Briar for you okay?

Gwen rises up "Yeah.. let's do this"

"Ten minutes... who bets she can last ten minutes? " The Bookie/Ref says

No hands go up

Briar spits. "My money on her! SILVERWOLF! AROOO!" A growlhowl!

It maybe gratifying to note some OTHERS in the crowd DO back up. 'muzzled' or not, that little monster is still a night mare, still a redcap

"Okay, everyone else out of the circle. Punching kicking allowed..." The Clurichaun says "It's over when one person is out, or cries uncle."

And Gwen nods getting in the center "Silver Wolf!" She snaps her own wolf like teeth

"I fought giants biggers n you, little brick" Dirk steps in "Rivervale takes pennons... EVERY time"

"Get him where it hurts! Right in the pencil-dick!"

And other colorful commentary flows as well.

Briar's commentary is Fierce! So nobody can say she's not doing her part!

What happens next.. is an epic beat down. Gwen can hit hard, really hard! She's a troll. But Shes not got oaths to pwoer her beyond that. And Dirk is very strong.

And she can't land the hits!!

Briar snarls and spits and yells, doing her best to try to distract the aggressor.

"Don't let him beat you! You're a wolf and WOLVES NEVER SAY DIE!"

Well, she can... but Dirk is just better. He hits her more often than she hits him! Some times it seems she can't land solid, but he lands soldi everytime

Dirk finds another problem though.. strong as he is... blows that BREKKE would feel , well, Gwen takes the hits... and she feels it, but not as much. Her skin is as tough as chainmail, and while Armor isn't allowed in this contest... skin sure is! And her rockhard form is like hitting stone

Blows that break bones, instead bruise!

A wince at a particularly brutal looking blow, and redoubles. "You can do it! I know you can! Smash 'em up! Grind him out! Sweep the leg!"

She actually tries and..and her leg hits Dirk's but he doesn't bowl over, he more twists and punches DOWN on her leg causing her to cry out

"You know having her call yoru shots OUTLOUD? And you follow? NOT SMART"

The rocky skin cracks a bit, flaking

"Huh," Dirk says "So you're like a crab. Break the shell, and the inside is good eating"

"Get off me!" Gwen says in an uppercut

He gets off, but her blows are clumsy, and he only lets her up to get more shots on her , Dirk is not above a Breast punch!

Then it happens, she clocks the Redcap in the jaw

And she makes him bleed, bloody lip time!

"Nice to see you've showed up" he licks his own blood

And someone says "Five minutes left!"

And Gwen howls, but if in rage or frustration hard to say

It happens about a minute and thirty seconds later. Gwen slams into Dirk, and then Dirk whams both hands, one to each ear , and down she goes.. not quite out of the pit, but on the ground dazed..and seemingly passing out.

And Briar realizes one.. Gwen 's skin, maybe rocky, but it is now a pattern of alternating bruises! And TWO... they are in danger of losing ALL THAT MONEY

"DON'T YOU DARE GO TO SLEEP! You're the toughest troll I know and you ain't even SAINED yet! You're reppin' the wolves here - not just you or me, but all of us and this is bigger, and you GOTTA GET BACK UP! You're just a stupid fuckin' rock-headed troll but you gotta learn to be TOO BLOCK-HEADED TO GIVE UP!"

Briar shouts at her in a mixture of back-handed encouragement and just straight out demanding! Maybe she can't snap an order like a Sidhe, but she can sure as hell snarl out a command!

Gwen blinks "huh wha.. okay okay.." A wince "Stop yellin.." She gets up and stands.. dark purple bruises on her rocky hide all over "I.. oh I'm in a fight" As if remembering

Dirk.. looks impressed "Three minutes to go, Brickgirl"

"Bring it" Gwen snorts and gets ready to get hit again

Dirk obliges her

Dirk's blow to her face, well, it's square on, but she stands, buoyed by Briar's support

Briar Shouts encouragement! "You only got a few more seconds!" Didn't she say that like a minute ago?
