"oh furk yes.. some pishdiddle waves his wang wang around and you put out it's more a waawwwaawa..." Sad trombone sound "Takes the steam out of his punk you know?"

Adam blinks. "I think I understood most of that....."

"Course. It's perfectly cromulent" She says

"Cromulent?"

"Yeah, Cromulent" She says crossing her arms

"What does that mean?"

"Adequate or serviceable" She says

"Yeah? Cool. Cromulent."

"So anyway..... ok, monster trucks. What else?" drink.

"Oh.. well, I Likke Forged In Fire. Ever see the show?'

"Nah, but one of my ex's liked it."

'Oh it's furking awesome. I'm not a blade maker but it's got class coming out of its ass."

"Har har" She says "I mean, they're like an unspoken code of honor and mutual respect among the smiths."

"Yeah?" A nostalgic smile. "Yeah. I can see that."

"Sometimes they even help each ohter out, but they're 90% good sports. The losers don't tend to whine.. the Champs show respect to the runner ups.. if more 'reality' shows were like that I'd respect em"

"I'm weird, I guess. I played basketball in school, but I liked roleplaying games too. I don't like too many TV shows or video games, and guys my age are supposed to. And I don't want to settle down with just one person." A shrug.

"You llike Roleplaying games?" She asks

"Yeah. There was a DM I wanted to get in with back in Jersey but.... that never happened." a shrug "We were both busy, I guess. Painted some wicked cool minis."

"You should get in on a game here" She says

"There's D&D here?"

"Sometimes, other times Thane Oswald does other games. .. but that's one of them. Watch out, the possum plays a mean dwarf"

"Thane Oswald....." trying to place the name with a face "Troll?"

"Yup. LOVES Starwars. Runs star wars RPGs too"

"Yeah? Cool! Yeah, I'll have to look the dude up, see if there's room. Thanks, Betty!"

"YOu're welcome... " A pause "Ah, that possum girl? Don't get on her Ewok's bad side if you DO do the star wars thing"

"Possum..... uh, wait, a pooka, right? Is she a.... nurse? A healer?"

"Yup. Sweet girl really... but in game? She longs for dismemberment" the nocker says

"Girl has issues."

"My heart was a Lion but now it is Caged..." A voice sings then says "And that's the song- I love a happy ending"

"Yeah, but the frik doesn't?" The nocker says, then hears the song and sighs "Mane envy. ugly thing"

Adam looks around behind him. "Who's that?"

"I think the court jester." She says

"Huh."

"Ok, so cool. Maybe some RP, that'd be cool. Do you play?"

"I tried it once. Not my thing really. Now some tactical games I'm down with"

"Like 40K?"

"40K?"

"Warhammer."

"Heard about it, never played. It's more tactical you say?" curious

"That's what I've heard. Too much number-crunching for me."

"Huh. I'll look into it. Thanks. Oh, good luck on your D&D game"

"I'll be on the lookout for some monster trucks." he grins.

"Ha. Okay. See you around, Adam."
