"Chieftain.. one more thing" He whisphers "Zephyrus be with you" And she feels.. oh, she can fly.. if she wants to.

A blink, startled...and a bit of a chuckle. "Thank you." Of course, it's perfectly easy for Bachdion to see her. The Veiled Eyes is geared towards the mortals. So, bedecked with leaves and unusually light of foot, she moves closer to the building.

She is acting on what some of the wilders would refer to as 'cheat mode'.. she closes undisturbed, and ignored by the guard on the roof. The only obstacle are trees that reach out , and that is no burden to her. She can look through windows and the like if she wants. OR perhaps just go inside.

She does not go inside yet. It is likely the doors are trapped. If the window is open, she looks within.

A second story window is open, and she hears feet stomping in a hallway, sees the room she has picked is a kind of make shift office. No one is in there, but it has a desk, with an older computer and what looks to be a generator

The flight comes in handy here...plus the fact that she has a bit of Wayfare of her own.

She kenns to see if she can get a sense of where the boy might be, if he is in fact fae.

A clever move. She senses glamour on the side of the building, and yes, the second floor, the window there is NOT open, and there are curtains, but he's in that room she's sure of it.

Aloft, she gets to that spot...and then uses Speaker's blade to scratch a circle about five feet tall onto the wall, casting portal passage on that spot. She's still veiled to the mortals, so she takes a shot and reaches a hand inside. Crooking a finger, she beckons come this way.

And the boy comes out into her arm

But she's startled at what she gets. This is no Eshu!

It's not any kithain she's seen before.

She stares a moment...but the important thing is that the fae is rescued. "Shh." she says. And she gets them away, back towards where Bachdion waits with the others.

The childling is dressed in layers, two jackets, at least two shirts. His baggy pants could have more than one underwear

And she gets him back without a hitch. He's african, but to enchanted eyes, there's an almost ghostly palor to the skin, and his eyes seem to lose their irises and pupils ..at least partly.

Once close, but far enough away not to be heard by the captives, she asks, "Who are you?"

"I am Yakhobah" he says in a soft voice, and she notices while his clothes are slovenly, he has numerous trinkets some quite well polished. "I klnow what you are, but not who. Did my fair fortune help after all?"

There is something vaguely sluaghish about him but he's nto a sluagh

"I think so. You redirected our Flicker Flash, it seems, to bring us here. None have died, yet. So yes. Yakhobah, I do not know your kith."

"I am an Okambo!" He says "And you are a troll. I have seen your kind in the great cities. " A look at the Gwydion falcon "Shango"

"Okambo. I am not familiar. You know more of my kind than I of yours, I think. Come." As they get to Bachdion, she does not bother to drop the veiled eyes. If the captives think Bachdion's talking to nobody, it matters little. "This is Yakhobah," she says to Bachdion. "It seems his Fair Fortune is what brought us here." She allows Bachdion to introduce himself as he will.

"Well, thank goodness. Soothsay drew us here... I thought I was getting old" The gray streaked satyr says

Yankhobah whispers to Brekke quietly "Does he not know he is old? Should we tell him? Or leave him to his happier dreams?"

"He and I both know our ages. All is well," she says back to the boy. "You brought us here...to save the elephant and to rescue you? Or is there more beyond this?"

"I did not know I would get a troll and a satyr" he says "I just hoped it would help the elephant and myself" He says then eyes her falcon "There is no point in lying to one of the Shango, but there are somethings I do not wish to tell you"

A narrowed look, then a nod. "My thoughts are this: We send these others back to their comrades, and when all or most are inside, I have the trees trap them within. Then we must alert authorities where to find them. Can this be done?"

"Yes." he says "I stole a phone from them" He reaches into a pocket and holds it out

Bachdion laughs "I think I like this one" He says

"Hm." Brekke has a grudging appreciation for this theft as well. Then she looks at the prisoners. "If we turn them loose, will they run back to the others?"

"If I threaten to shoot them they will" Bachdion says with confidence

A nod. "Then let me get back there and prepare my part. Yahkobah, know that the elephant is safe. It told me of you, which is why we did not just leave. Do you have a place to go here, once this is finished?"

"There are always places to go," he smiles slyly "Old tombs, hidden places of worship, crawl spaces and tunnels thought to be sealed"

"That...does not sound pleasant. But I see you smile, so I will be satisfied that this is your choice." She nods. "Bachdion, give me a few minutes to bunk, then send them back." And she returns to a spot close to the building to wait and preapre.

While waiting, she takes some of the vines draping from nearby trees and weaves and tangles them together, gently, murmuring, "Enwrap and capture, enwrap and capture...."

The plan.. goes off beutifully

the two prisoners race in saying don't shoot, speaking of witches or the like... the spell goes off, and the vines entrap and capture!

Brekke quells a brief mad impulse to set fire to the building with the poachers and thieves within. Shaking her head, she goes back to Bachdion and Yakhobah if he is still there.

Yakhobah is still there and says "Now, if I set fire to it, they will have learned a valuable lesson!"

Bachdion looks at the boy alarmed

A blink. Can this boy read minds? She shakes her head. "Do not. Find the authorities, have them arrested, and then even more people will learn the consequences of their actions, not just these few."

"Besides...fire would harm the trees."

"Oh yes" He sighs

A look to Bachdion. "We must go." Then, "Yakhobah, be well."

"You have done me a service," Yankohabah says . "I have a trinket for you to thank you." And he presses something in her hand "Perhaps I shall visit YOU one day and save you. Be well. May the hidden things be yours to find"

A solemn nod. "My thanks." She looks at the thing in her hand.

Bachdion smiles at the boy "Perhaps you will." And reaches up and touches the Chieftain's shoulders "Pardon me, Baroness."

A nod to the satyr. She can inspect the trinket later.
