He rubs with a clean rag a few more times. And turns to look.

It's his youngest daughter, home . he .. he hasn't seen her in.. awhile. And nor she him. She hugs him.

"Siv...... Welcome. You are well?"

"I am now" She says and parts "Dad.. I don't know where to start. I met mom, but it was Dagmar who told me she got hurt with Iron? She's on the mend?"

He frowns, brows low. "Yes. Some stiffness still but better than she was."

"Well, I know you're making sure she's taking care of herself. Earl was really bad after getting a belly jab with it too on our end. " She looks him over as if counting his fingers "I heard you fought redcaps"

"I had help. Adam and Lut were with me, and Sparrow helped out."

"Sparrow was there ? I didn't know who was going where exactly only where the targets were" She says thoughtfully "The Balor on this end was a bad one. Crazy.. Tantalus said she was more twisted than he"

A grunt. "Brekke took care of her. I'm told Piper helped, there."

"Good" Siv says. "I ..." A breath "Dad... I... I've been through a lot."

Frank looks concerned (under the beard) and offers her some fender to sit on. "You said you are well."

"I am.. but ... you may be upset with me" She takes the spot offered and looks at him, "You know I try to follow your teachings. What you have told me is right and wrong?"

He nods.

And she says "Well... I'm going to tell you what I told mom" She tells about how she's been on a mission, to be a spy, to get to the heart of Tantalus network, by his very side, so she could sento ut the ifno others needed... had to have to make it work.

Frank listens with a neutral expression.

And then she mentions the Autumn Person.. a murderer, a brute, a slaver.... And how she struggled to keep up. How even with the help of Jonas .. it was growing so her ruse would be undone.

Oh, he looks troubled, of course. But he keeps that worry in some part of him that lets him be Mountain.

"If it had been just me...I might have run but.. " A frown "It risked the mission, but the whole thing in jeopardy. Three different squads would have been effected, and dozens and dozens of mortals unsaved. So ... " A breath "I Killed him. I'm sorry, Father I didn't mean to betray Liam values but I'm not going to be a Liam and there was no time"

She fights the urge to look away

Frank tilts his head, puzzled. "You killed an Autumn Person. True death."

A breath "Yes. I killed a son of Adam. He was himself a murderer, and a slaver. But it was his banality that pushed ito the point where I had no choice but to take him out if I wanted to succeed and save everyone. Including some I loved. I.. am not sure I can even say I'm sorry."

"Siv, you're not Liam. You can't betray Liam values. No, you won't be Liam..... that has never bothered me. Has it bothered you?"

"I..." A surprised look "I thought you'd be furious that I didnt' do this the Liam way. I..." She realizes that's not what he asked then "At times, Dad I regretted we didn't have ... well.. I didn't fit mom's Gwydion .. or your Liam... in a world of blues and greens I'm a red dot it seems and I'm not ashamed, but I do. .I do like connections with us"

"Do you think sharing a House would build a stronger connection between us?"

"I.. I thought it might" She admits "At one time, but it's one thing not to be of the same House, it's another to.. go against your House's ideals I thought you'd be furious with me I thought you'd..." She admits "Wow. Jessica was right."

An eyebrow.

"She told me that you wouldn't hold me to Liam standards that you wouldn't... " Stunned "Sometimes I forget she knows you better than I do."

A soft grunt. "She and I didn't get the kind of time together you and I did. But, I am glad she thought along those lines. No, Siv. No Child of Adam and Eve would ever be worth you. Not to me. Perhaps that makes me a bad Liam, but a good father?

"you're a good liam and a GREAT father" She hugs him, and seems SO relieved

A puff of amusement, and he hugs her back.

"Ah.. I suppose now is the part where it gets scary" And she relates how she was pushed to Ravage. how a note left behind by Piper saved her ass for a day. About how she instead had to drink in glamour from.... Tantalus dark workings and treasures

Ok, this is more than half-hidden concern; he looks -worried-.

"But it was tainted glamour, twisted glamour..... and I ended up filled with a lust for other women.. and that's fine, but it also made me hate them, see them as objects to be used and cast out like trash... I had to fight it.. then Zane came up with this plan to save me... and I was SO wicked to everyone but.." And she relates the story, how others chipped in and more.

A slow nod.

She goes on, relating the box, changing it, transforming it and pouring out her glamour in the working... her near choke at the end until she saw that it was her mother's work on the box "Mom didn't know... but it was like a .. like the Dreaming reminding I was loved across kingdoms" and she tells how she empted it, and the ship was burned, or.. more accurately, Tantalus' image was burned off it.. as Jessica nd her hold Fought "They cleeared out the bad glamour, every filthy bit of it.. da she was a power! She and Fenxi together and .. the other filled me with the good glamouor from those who donated and cared and ... it was so good to be me again."

He cups her cheek in a tender gesture. "It is good to have you here again." he agrees.

"I missed it here, I miss you and mom and...everyone." She says smiling "I love you, dad. But.. what I did, it was important and... well, my duty. I'm... not proud of what I said to others wihle tainted. But I am..." A thought "Knowing that all those women children and men are safe now, and that Tantalus.. and those horrid people hurting them are dealti with... I .. I feel like I know who I am when I think on that. "

"Then it was worth it." He agrees.

"I need to report to the Baroness, but if it's okay I think I'd like to spend a weekend here again. I need a touch of home" she looks around, then pats the truck

"We'd love to have you." He confirms.

"I'm still going to be a Fiona mind, but if I get membership I'll be a Rivervale Fiona" A nod

Frank nods.

"So... " A smile "Dinner tonight? You, me, mom?"

"You got it." Frank agrees. "I'd offer to take everyone out but......"

"Right. Quarentine" she nods

"Sorry." Sincerely.

"Not your fault, Dad. Besides, it's the company that makes it special, much as I love the food here" She leans against her dad and smiles. "We can fuss at mom together if she doesn't take it easy as she finishes healing. That'll be fun. She'll make that face. We'll make our faces. She'll sigh. We'll nod."
