From his driveway hoop, Adam pauses and watches, lifting a hand in collegiate greeting.

Eden stops and peeks out "Hey, Corporate Overlord. You want your cut of the bank robbery?"

"Uh." he approaches carefully "You mean, from the ride business?"

"I.." She tries to answer so it could be understood "No. Avon"

But she pulls out a small bag of dross and cash

He edges closer and over to reach out for the bag, basketball tucked under his other arm.

Looks like quite a collection. Some candy with glamour, a chinese finger trap .... and yes, several 20s

"You got yours? Enough?" Adam looks the loot over, then peers into the car.

She gives a thumbs up "Had a sidhe meal with extra wings, a troll tater, A Pooka Fritter with Nocker sauce on the side, and satyr not so frosty."

Adam looks confused, and possibly disgusted, but then light dawns. "I... I think I get it. Ok, cool. But, uh....."

"Yeah?" She says

"Well, just, I don't need dross. Not, like, -need- it. You know? I get it for my family, if they need it sometime. And I'm saving to get someone to make me something but that's not a must-have. So if you need it? I mean.... that's why I'm collecting it. To help. Since I can't... I'm not making Glamour on my own. Yet."

"You're almost as nice as you think you are" She smiles "But right now I need the green more than the sugar in my diet?"

"Oh. Here." He offers over the cash.

She takes "OOOokaay... but I was supposed to give you 100 divided by 10 percent"

"You did." He grins charmingly. "I get to decide what I do with my money, right?"

"Okay. "She waves "Any orders boss man?"

"Me? Nah, I mean... you know, have fun with it, I guess?"

And she drives off

Adam puts the bag in a pocket and dribbles, watching her drive off.

Zane says "She looks like a lot of stress is off her since she became emancipated"

"JESUS, DUDE!!" Adam drops the ball and jerks away. "Where the hell did you come from??"

"Oh, Veil magic.. keeps folks from paying attention to me. Fear my eldritch chicanary" A smug look

"Showoff." Muttered. He goes after and gets his ball.

"I am indeedly showing" he says

Adam throws him the ball, passing straight from the chest.

He catches it this time "You throw like the gender prefix that is most insulting to you" A grin though

"Oh, it's on. You got game, let's go. No cheating!"

A laugh.. and they begin to play. Zane's feeling cocky and doing well, but Adam has the skills and is no wimp.

....AND he's restless with lockdown AND needs a good stretch......

Soon, Adam is dominating the game, but to his credit, that satyr stamina means that the game can go on. And that SPEED makes it almost impossible to catch Zane if he makes the break.

So Adam plays to keep Zane from getting that chance, while looking to steal the ball if he can, or keep it if he has it, and make a game-ending shot for a winning point..........

And then Adam makes that shot, winning it clean.

Panting, he drops back from the lay up. "WOO!"

"Okay okay you got me"

"YEAH!" Adam struts a little, then grins. "Drink?"

"Darn straight"

"C'mon....." He leads Zane inside towards the kitchen; Adam, at least, looks good when damp with sweat.

Zane staggers in. "Whew."

They see his dad working on a lap top

"Hey dad...." but as dad is rarely a source of liquid refreshment, Adam bee-lines for the fridge.

"Hey Mr. Thomas" Zane says

"Hi, Son, Hi someone else's son on loan" Kyle Thomas says as he types

Oh hey, Sunny D light, Some Sodas, gatoraid...

"Gatoraid?" He offers.

"Sure... the thirst bencher..." Zane says "Tahnks"

Adam tosses him one, and cracks open his own.

"How goes, boys?" Kyle says

"Getting my butt stomped in B Ball, but at least I made him work for it" Zane grins
