Vaeltilde moves through the halls. They think she doesn't hear, but she does sometimes. The Balor are the worst. Why she must endure her enemy she is not sure, but Tidemarch plays his games. She is grateful to be his heir, but one does not 'observe' vipers in a garden, one beheads them.

One Balor lady smiles, "Baroness, out and about? So sorry you lost your playmate"

The young Aesin inclines her head, "I never wanted a whipping boy anyway, Dame. He is well, somewhere else. Solitude can be endured if one is competent."

"And yet," The Balor smiles, "One is weaker alone, are they not?"

"And yet Jackals make way for the She-Bear," Vaeltilde and moves straight towards the Balor, who startled, steps aside.

Then, the Balor woman's eyes narrow

And the Aesin continues on muttering "just so."

And the little girl thinks to herself I am not alone entirely, but I have few allies. Perhaps I am too 'simple' to enjoy these intrigues, but I must find the audacity to do the unthinkable. I.. yes, that might work. And she smiles as she realizes the visit is soon. She will see the Countess soon, and that will open avenues.

The lights flash and glare... "Disco did not die, Disco is life!" The balls spin with balefire casting the groovy glamour
