"And to be made whole for what has happened? I cannot dictate what will happen."

"He needs to stop ignoring the boundaries we set for him. I'm not saying boundaries can't be negotiated. But when he's told , for example, 'Don't go to the apartment that is serving under age kids alcohol' he needs to not go there. And he needs to recognize that IF he crosses these boundaries anyway, there are consequences...and we have the right, and duty, to bring those consequences about. "

"I DO appreciate the idea of him telling us he appreciates us and what we DO do that he likes. It's..." An admission, "its a gratifying offer."

Brekke furrows her brow. "You are talking about future behavior. He has caused you stress and frustration. What can he do to make you whole for the stress and frustration that he has already caused?"

"Don't.. do it again?" He says "Sorry Chieftain, agreeing to correct future behavior IS how he can help smooth over the past..at least for me. "

The boy's leg jogs again.

Seems to be a habit he picked up from his mom

Lily is writing on a note pad

"Mm." A sigh. "This is hard enough with two, but we have four, and all wish to speak, I think. Kyle, I know this is unresolved, but we move on for the moment. Brenda." A nod to the satyr who is barely keeping herself in her seat. "How have you been harmed by any in this room?"

"Mostely stress and worry as well. I'm not sleeping well... I'm angry...and hurt... a lot. It's hard to guage. I .. being a satyr my emotions are all on the outside of my skin. I know much of my current troubles are ..well, consequences. I know this is supposed to be how 'I' am affected but like Kyle it's hard not to think of how it affects my loved ones. it.. KILLS me that Adam is so miserable here. I don't.. . I feel like I'm failing another child.. again. "

Brekke's brow knits a bit. "Again," she repeats, inviting Brenda to clarify.

A guilty look to Lily

"Chieftain, I didn't .. know about sluagh. Should have stuided more. .then, wehn Nab drove us unseelie.. I .. didn't handle it well... it made me a negligant mother"

Adam does look faintly guilty. And truculent.

"Mm." Brekke sighs. "That is, in part, my blame I believe. I did not prepare you all well for your unseelie sides. I think I did not anticipate that it would happen so suddenly, and so out of season. And I did not recognize it as soon as I should have."

Lily looks up, frowns, and then goes back to writing her notepad

"Seems like a lot of blame to go around, Chieftain, but I was the one whose ACTIONS or .. inaction, risked my daughter" Brenda says "And I dont' think I'll ever forgive myself for that"

"She was ok." muttered.

"Lily? What impact has that time had on you?"

Lily says "I .. was fine" She says with a ressruing look to his mom "I didn't mind"

Lie

"See?"

"Adam..." Brekke reminds him that it is not his turn. "Lily...." An eyebrow.

"Sorry....." mumbled quietly.

Lily blushes "Well, i was ..kind of lonely. I didn't even have folks I coduld spy on, and I know sluagh are supposed to be lonely so may be i'm not good at it but... it felt like the family was..dead, and not in that 'you get to visit the gravestones and wear black' kind of way"

"I'm sorry, baby" Brenda can't help it

Brekke tilts her head. "Do you feel you have been made whole since then?"

Adam frowns a little, looking away.

" i was feeling ..better... yes." a glare from her dark eyes at adam

"For your mother's part. She has made good on where she had harmed you?"

"yes" Lily says as if of course "mom just never catches a break is all"

"Then...Brenda...harm done to Lily is resolved. The harm you are feeling...you say it hurts you that Adam is miserable. Adam...has it been your intent to hurt Brenda?"

"No." Mumbled. Must be something interesting out the window there.....

Lily scowls and holds up her hand!

Brenda seems stunned, but not much relieved, no now she's looking with concern to Adam

And Kyle looks troubled for their son's sake as well

Brekke looks at them all for a moment. "Lily." A nod.

"his intentions don't mean anything, not when the .. uhm impact is he keeps hurting mom! I heard how he talked to her. I hear her cry at night. I hear everything"

"Oh Lily no that's not fair..." Brenda says forgetting the rules "Satyrs are emotional... "

Brekke nods slowly. "Good. That is a point I have been trying to make sure you all see. Whatever you may be intending...you may be causing each other unintended harm."

"As have I," she adds.

"Adam, do you understand your impact upon Brenda?"

A significant pause. "Yeah."

"I know you have other matters you wish to speak on. But for this...what do you think needs to happen to make things right with Brenda?"

A shrug. "Don't know. I mean.... the Traggos met, right? And they sorted things out? So.... isn't that it?"

Eyebrow. "It seems not, if she is still upset."

"I don't know."

Lily frowns

Brenda takes a slow breath

"Mm. Then, Adam, explain what happened between you and your mother."
