"Ok... how about ... uh.... there's a bus or a train station around here, right?"

"Dude.. are you running away from a crazy Ex or something?"

"Yeah, yeah, that's it. Take me to one of those stations."

She looks nervous but says "Okay, the client is always right" She bobs her head

And they drive towards the bus station

She pulls over "Here you go.."

Adam relaxes a bit in the backseat..... it was a long, cold, night and then a long, cold day......and the car is warm.... her voice jerks him up. "Right. Ok, cool. Thanks. What's the tab?"

"A star of broadway... he's not throwing away his shot"

"What?" The bleary teen peers at her.

She flashes a five sign twice

He processes. "Ten?"

She taps her nose

Adam pulls a $20 from his wallet; the sisters didn't get -all- his money.... "Here. Keep the change."

"Action Jackson..." And she lets him go

He steps out... and.. has a long wait.

Adam gets out and hunches against the chill, walking into the ... bus? train? whatever.... into the station.

Bus station. It's open.. but theyr'e asking folks to please stay back six feet, and they're only allowed half occupency. There's a vending machine with some snacks.

mostly candy though

He gets a snickers.

Yeah, that should do it

"Where you going?" The lady says at the sales

They've got busses going to Atlantic City, to New York City, to Boston. TO Hartford, Harrisford and Hampshire

"Uh..... Actually, I'm waiting on a call to let me know. I'll be up and get a ticket as soon as I hear." Adam gives her a good-looking grin.

"Okay" She says

Adam looks around to see if he can get a seat near an outlet.

He gets one..

but an hour later...there's an ahem

He may have been caught catnapping. He looks up.

"You.. you got any cash?" The bum says..his teeth are..crooked, a few missing.. and he smells a bit like urine.

"Nah, man. Sorry."

"Well.shit." and he sits near Adam stinnking and mumbling to himself

Adam sits with his bag secure on him; he doesn't want to lose his outlet access.

"Think I'm gonna rob you? Fine how do you do... " He sniffs "that's the ...the .. i forget.. I forget but they can't stop snithicng... "

Adam practices the fine art of selective deafness.

As a teen, he has a natural edge.
