As they approach the lodge

Adam (wisely) chooses not to affirm the obvious; Vali is right.

The Baroness seems to wave it off . Vali's point maybe true, but it doesn't matter to her. There's something about sidhe at times... as if they felt themselves immune to petty problems such as kinian troubles. It seems indifferent, even a bit cold, so why does he find their world so...compelling.

Adam parks the car, kills the engine, and exhales.

"Thank you for letting me come." He says to the steering wheel quietly.

"Not a problem. You want us to cover your gas?" Vali offers

"No, Sir. Thank you."

"Okay. Good work" He gets out and lets Nadeen out, unless Adam beats him to it.

Adam does perform that last service, yes.

"Thank you, Adam. I'll confirm that you can be called a Thane or some other job position while escorting me in the future. Assuming you are interested in it regularly" The Lieason says "if nothing else, perhaps escort as a title"

And the two titled head into the lodge "You know you're welcome in here anytime, Adam" And in they go to the lodge

"Thank you, uh..... Lady Nadeen." And he watches them go, not taking up the offer.

Oak wags at him through a window, then goes to greet Vali now that he's in.

Leaving Adam a time to return home

And he does. He heads upstairs straight away, pensive.

And Nab is there "HeYYYYY... there are like a half dozen new girls in your head"

"Huh? Yeah. Probably, yeah." He pulls off some of the voile, enough to be comfortable, and drops onto his bed with a basketball. He tosses it up above him, catches. Repeats.

"Have a good time at Court?" She says

"Yeah...." wistfully.

"I'm glad. " She shifts to an elegant gown "I know you love seeing sidhe. "

He glances over, away. Nods. "Oh!" He puts the ball down and picks up the phone. "Almost forgot....."

"Oh?" Curious

"Gotta get some work....." He activates the Knight's Heart app and scans it, logs in some availability.

And he's surprised how many hits he gets! He thought it would be NO ONE... but it looks like some changelings are frustrated by the restrictions on public Transport system, or frustrated that they will look suspicious going to locations when there are lock downs.

His eyes light. "Awesome......" He checks the time; enough to earn some dross?

The gross sluagh guy who looks like wax doesn't say much. He sighs as he carries a heart shaped box.

He just sits in the back and gave his directions and then quieted down.

Then pays in dross when dropped off. A slinky with blood on the wiring.

Well. Sluagh. Adam just drives and delivers. The dross goes into a pouch he's using for such things.

Looks like there's two other calls... a troll or a satyr. Wait, make that a troll. The satyr got picked up

Adam scowls now. Someone in my turf.

Torin gets in the back "Thanks. To the..." he looks over a text 'Enchanted Evening Cafe'?"

"Mr....uh.... Dagmar's grandfather?" Adam recognizes him, startled.

"Oh yes.. " He says "YOu're that Adam boy right? Do you know where the Enchanted Evening Cafe is?"

As point of fact he does.

"Yessir.... we're on the way." And off they go.

Torin looks tempted to say something, but hmms instead

Adam glances a few times in the rear view. "Was there something, sir?"

"Ah, no. Just ah.. well, just contemplating your history with my grand daughter"

"Oh. Yeah." He does sound regretful. "I'm glad we're ok, now."
