Smirk t hen he motions his friend to follow "Okay okay.. just fun to rile you. So, you want to drop by Etsie?"

"Sure. Want me to drive? Less questions, maybe."

"Sure, save us time"

"Hop in." Adam motors them according to Zane's direction.

He gets in, and they head to an apartment complex

"This is the place, she's on the first floor , Corner apartment"

Adam strolls along easily with Zane, confidently.

One thing Adam notices is..there's glamour here..not like the lodge, but here and there... and the apartment itself looks ..nice. Not sterile or dull

He does look around, eyes curious.

"Is it me or is there some, uh, juice here?"

"Oh yeah, lots of Kinian and a few kithian here. It's owned by a satyr.. the complex I mean"

He notices some of the maids working here... pardon 'cleaning staff' look pretty hot. They get to the door "here she is." he knocks on the door "Estie? It's me, Zane?"

"Come in come," She says

"Oh, Adam is with me!"

"him too"

"Hello, Mrs., uh, Estie." Adam politely introduces himself.

"JUst Etsie, come in come in.." She motions , she's possibly the oldest kithain he's ever seen . Her apartment is... awesome ! Original albulm covers used for decorations! A poster signed by the members of KISS... sure a lot of it is way before his time, but it still looks bad ass. There's two electric guitars as well.

"My folks wanted me to check up on you and help you with your grub hub ap?" He says

"Well, aren't you both just good looking nice fellows," She grins "If I were still your age I'd be breathing heavy around you both. Yes yes, I need help setting up this phone to make orders and I feel like an old fool but hey"

A slow smile spread on his face as he looks around.

"This room is ...did you really meet and get KISS to autograph that in person?" he asks

"There's a LOT Gene Simmons and I did in person," She grins "And older bands too. "

"Can I get you something to drink, Adam? Zane?"

"Bourbon?" Adam asks with a cocky grin.

"Sure thing" She heads to a wet bar and pulls a short glass out, and pours in Bourbon, "And for you, Zane?"

Zane grins "Bourbon's fine by me"

"Well, I'm assuming one of you drove so this is the only one you get and we may have to chat a bit" The old woman says with a smile and pours a thrid

Adam's eyes light up and he glances excitedly at Zane.

"Yeah, Adam drove so maybe I should have his glass too," Zane grins at his friend.

A chuckle from the old woman at that

"Hey! You said just the one, right, and we chat?" Adam steps up.

"Yes I did," She says "and the chat will take a bit as part of it is tech support to a woman who remembers 8 track tapes. " She does hand each boy a glass, "How are you two doing in these weird weird times?"

Adam takes his glass and grins so hard the top of his head might fall off.

"Uh, good! You know.... gotta be careful on these runs, try and keep your head down and have a good reason to be out and about but that ain't hard."

"Take it slow there, you two, Bourbon has impact," She smiles and sips

Zane is agreeing with Adam, "Yeah, Adm still gets around.. mostly his job is for Kithain and Kinian"

Adam's been watching Zane out of the corner of his eye but sees the hostess sipping and does the same.

And makes a strangled sound.

Zane takes it, seeming to handle it easier, "Nice" He says of the booze, though he has to take it slow.

Etsie smirks a bit but briefly, "Adam, yes. You're the kinain warrior I heard about. Piper mentioned you I think."

He swallows it, though, and his smile is cocky. "Yeah. Piper's the best."

"Shes' a fine young woman, most of the Wayburtons are all right. " then she looks to Zane, "Your father is brilliant, but I do love giving him a hard time now and then. Forgive."

"Oh he's kind of asking for it, now and then," Zane agrees, "No worries. Okay, let me see your phone, please?"

And she hands it over.

Adam sips again, braced for it this time.

Zane says "Okay, this is easy, let me..." Tappity tappity

"Now, Adam. Your mother, Brenda, she seems nice. How's her poetry coming along?"

"Mom's great, yeah. She's working a lot on it, I know that. She's been teaching me a bit about it."

"Wonderful, you probably made her day" Then she adds, "Also, poetry can be a gate way to writing songs. Either one can get the young Does panting."

"I might try writing some poetry. Mom says it's easiest to, like, get inspiration from the greats, from what works, and then branch off on your own." Sip. He's mastered this.
