Adam cradles Piper gently in their grassy nest. "Hey. Remember what we saw in the soup? Zane was with two other guys. Did you recognize them?"

"Hmmm?" A distracted sound, and then she refocuses on the question. "Oh, yeah. Zane ran me through the locals when I first moved here. They were strictly on the 'Do Not Bother' list. The redcap is... Derek, I think? And I know not to bother redcaps. And the sluagh is his brother - there's an adoption there, or they're both adopted or something. I've seen him a bit, but he lurks in the background so he's harder to keep track of than Timmy."

Adam props himself up beside her. "Right. Dirk is an asshole, like.... bad guy. He'll be on the news one day. Symon is ok, he's a GM. I want to get into a game with him sometime. He like to play himself off as extra creepy though. Point is, their mom is Mrs Lee. She's.... Uh, she's Fae too, what do they call the short ones? Kinda.... big?

She giggles. "I think they prefer, stout. That's boggans."

"What should we do with the info though, if we can't tell anyone what we saw?"

Adam thinks. "I could.... go over? Hey, I can go look to see if Symon has a game going I could get into?"

"Isn't that, like, nerd stuff?"

"Yeah." Unbothered. "I like it. Adventures...."

"I prefer adventures in real life, rather than little toys and dice." She sounds a little doubtful. "But if you like it, sure."

"Oh, me too." He assures. "But.... it's better than nothing. "

"Do you want me to come with you? Or rather scout this out on your own?"

Adam thinks. "Come with? I mean... I might miss something. Just 'cause I don't know what to look for. Figure we can see what Mrs Lee knows? I mean -both- her kids are missing...."

"I guess we can just say that we want to ask them if they've seen Zane. We probably should have done that anyways, as he COULD have been bunking with his other friends." Nodding.

"Is asking about Symon too sneaky? Can Mrs Lee tell the truth, like the Chief? Man, that would suck...."

"I don't think so. I mean, we're classmates after all, right?"

"Yeah....."

She leans over to kiss his neck, and then starts gathering and getting dressed. "Well, it's cold here, and if we're not working to stay warm, we should get moving!"

"I'm ok with working." He grins, kissing her. And then he starts getting dressed.

And, assuming that they don't run into anything else along the way at the Farm, they're on their way to the trod, and from there to the Lee home...

Oh, but Anne Marie is not to be found.. mmm
