Zane pauses "Then if you already have two who can..." Zane says "oh shit. I know what..who I know.. how!"

"What??"

"Dude, metamorphasis, it has a level called go ask Alice... you can make things smaller... or bigger.. like... Jonas could make Nab full sized"

"Siv might be able to as well" He ponders

Adam freezes in place. "What?"

"I mean, with the right cantrip, someone can make you a foot tall, or HER five foot some inches" Zane says "How did I MISS that?"

"For good? Permanently?"

"AH, no." he says "But hours, probably"

Adam looks almost heartbrokenly hopeful. "Oh. Uh... better than nothing. I guess. No way to do it... for good?"

"Oh sure, there's always a way dude. I mean, somehow Stormwake can chanbge size at will. There's got to be a treasure of growth or something. "

Adam thinks. "No, I should ask her."

"oh yeah, good point" A nod "Let's head back to New Jersey dude. " And "Hey, PIper .. you LIKE Her right?"

"I mean, not throwing stones, but she has feelings and if all you want is a nab substitute, it might hurt her"

Oh, that smile spreading across his face. "Yeah. No, Piper..... I like her. A lot. I do."

Happy sigh.

"Cool. " he looks relieved "Shes' gonna be cool with you playing the field, but no satyr girl wants to be treated like , well, you get it. And I'm glad you're not. Sorry if I insulted. This thing with my dad has me shaken" But he does seem less angry, like it's out of his ssytem

"Nah, Dude.... Piper and Nab... uh, get along really well. Together."

"Gotcha, say no more. SOme things i don't need to hear if you know what I mean?"

"Yeah, but.... damn." Quietly satisfied as they head back to NJ. "Just sayin'."

And the trod trip takes them trhough to a safe...

..safe return.
