Hewitt coughs

"Hm. Perhaps. There are others more skilled at such things than I. I can ask."

She raises a brow at Hewitt, and invitation to speak.

"I would want some real training. Enough that he can enter a trade... support himself and get a good start."

"I have a tradesman permit as a smith" he says

"And metal worker"

A nod. "What of knowledge on running a small business in accord with mortal laws?"

"Custom order knives purchasable online" The Dougal says

"Cool" COlton says

"That... might work, yes."

Brekke looks thoughtful, and nods.

"I still want to spend sometime at the house I've been at, I don't want Sparrow alone too often" Jaw jut, protective

Gently, too many emotions at once making her voice quiet. "Colton..."

"You feel lonely I think, even when in a crowd.. and I notice," He says "I mean, Gowdeen tries, she cares but..."

"That's not your job, Colton. Don't worry about me. I'm good." There's a ping.

"It's not a job it's... just right" He says doubtful of her words

"Excuse me, Lady Sparrow...but Sir Colton is seelie. He has learned well what that means, after his original liege tried to teach him another path. While I believe he wishes to visit you because he cares, he also has a duty to you, even now. You have cared for him, supported him, and trained him. He is no longer your squire, but as he is seelie, he has a duty to care for you as you have for him. Do not deny him this, please."

A frown. "I want him to make his own choice, I don't want to pressure him."

"You're not. " Colton says "Unless I'm unwelcome ,I would like to."

"Understood," Brekke nods. "But then you must accept the choice he makes."

Hewitt says "In House Dougal, Many a mentor and former apprentice remain good comrades trhough out the years"

"Chief, Chief..." Gerd comes in "We gotta go"

"You're always welcome. Besides... if you really do wish to join the House, now it's time for some serious preparation!"

Brekke looks up and frowns at the girl. "Gerd?"

"That's true, I have to arrange a ceremony and..." Colton says then stops in surprise as Gerd comes in

Sparrow half-rises, wings unfurling.

"Something crazy at the lodge," Gerd say "our lodge I mean..." SHe shows her smart phone "Check out these texts"

Adam... magical transformations? Not a dream dance?

Brekke awkwardly takes the phone in hand and fumbles through scrolling them. And he brow furrows.

Rising, she returns the phone to Gerd. "Lady Sparrow, Baron Hewitt, Sir Colton, please excuse us. Rivervale calls."

"Of course," Sir Colton says.

"A pleasure to have your support, Chieftain," Hewits says "It will mean much"

Brekke nods. "We will speak more." But she is now preoccupied and looks to Gerd. "Can we go from here?"

"If Rivervale needs, just ask. I will answer."

"Yeah sure.." Gerd says and takes her phone back then touches the Chief

"My thanks, Lady Sparrow." A nod...and then they are gone.

And Gerd sings for a bunk "I was a healer

ANd they vanish

Hewitt says "Does everyone know that art but me?" A grin

"Seems that way, doesn't it? I'm in the same boat, even with the wings."

"Hell, I couldn't even fly until after a trip to the Deep Dreaming."

Colton says "This is where I snap my fingers and vanish amazing you all"

"Well - I should let you two get back to smithy talk."

"You sure? Marselles is making Coconut Banana pudding" Hewitt says with a smile

"Ohhh... I'm going to wind up a goose!"

"We actually have too much food right now," Colton says "You're doing us a favor" He moves "May we escort you?"

"I suppose." She smiles, slicked feathers starting to relax back to normal.

And they do, Hewitt does say "Apparently I Need to get him a receipe for Haggis, can you believe it's not a staple?"

"Can you believe people eat it?" Colton mutters

"Ah.. well.. say, are scottish eggs really scottish?"
