"Doors will close to you as a Liam - doors that would not close to a Fiona or Dougal."

"Not these doors," Hewitt interjects

"I know, Hewitt, and I appreciate that,:

He inclines his head

"As do I," Colton says then looks to Bird, "My li..." A stop, "my friend, you have taught me a lot, and given up a lot, but please don't give up any more for me or anyone else if it makes you unhappy. If you want to rule a hold, well, I don't know where we'd find one but we'd help look. If you want to wander an artistwarrioress errant, then so be it, or anything between. If you want to focus on mortals and get that degree so you can teach as well as do art, let us know, okay?"

"I was never unhappy to have you as my squire, Colton."

"I was never unhappy to provide for you, as much as I could."

" I realize, but you have been unhappy about somethings and I... sometimes I think I pinned you down from personal hopes"

She shakes her head. "No, Colton."

"Sounds like both of ye were stepping worried around each other about holding each other back when both of you were lending all the support for the other and then some," Hewitt says "Dougals don't have these hang ups, if you'll forgive me saying?"

A laugh. "Yes, the Liam brow is furrowed."

"Well then I'm Definitely going into the right house for me by seeking out Liam" Colton says

She grins, like hte sun coming from behind a cloud.

"Aye, well, I hope you'll still let you give me some smithing tips if you stick around. Talent should nae be wasted"

"Colton, where do you want to be?"

"That's the question, would you believe me if I told you I really am not sure yet?"

"Well... this might involve Hewitt, too - but it isn't a race. We have trods."

"You do still have another semester of school."

"I think it might be fine to have you racing back and forth if you were upto it' " Hewit says "And yes, trods do help"

"Well, then I think, I think I might be a good Storm here, if part time were possible"

Brekke has been quietly listening to all this, considering the dynamics of the interplay.

Her boggan senses are... non existent but an experienced eye shows much affection between the knight and his former liege and Hewitt is rpobably right they don't want to hurt each other. But so far so good. And..truth seems to be the norm

"Hm." She finishes her coffee. "There is the matter of income and housing. You will need to protect yourselves from becoming dreamstruck. Have you considered your options on that matter?"

"Yes." Colton says "Camping"

"As for me, " Hewitt says "MOtels will be fine"

"As Colton's legal guardian, I get assistance from the state. Almost six hundred dollars a month."

"Oh gosh I forgot.. I .." Colton says "Okay, I will definitely stay for awhile.. use trods"

"Mm." A nod. "That is best. How old are you, Sir Colton?"

"Seventeen" he says

Sparrow frowns, feathers slicked.

"And school will be complete within the year? Hm." She looks to Sparrow.

"I.. I meant that if he... I.. that he could use that money, if he came here..."

"Wait, what's going on?" Colton frowns

"If you needed rent money? For a place to stay off site..."

"You will still need to prove he lives with you, if you are his legal guardian. That can be managed, but it would be wise to continue as you have done before as much as possible, I think. Colton should appear at your current residence frequently."

"It will be difficult if he drops out of school." She admits, reluctant.

"But he's old enough to be emancipated. We could arrange for him to move here."

Colton says "I don't want to take any money from Sparrow. "

"It's your money. It's to make sure you have everything you need."

"YOu made sure I had everything I needed, I ate more than you or August for years"

"Teenaged boy. AND a troll."

"Perhaps we can find a way to have Sir Colton registered as doing a trade internship for his final months. They he would still be registered with the school system, but not obliged to appear at a school building each day."

"Point is, I am provided for. Supplies too. Texbooks, clothes"
