"We don't have any of those at home. We have a boggan, but she's not sneaky."

"Yeah, where's home?" LEna asks.

Siv bites her lip "is it okay if we don't say?"

"You two ashamed of where you're from?" A look to Dagmar from Lena

"Nope!"

"But we're... well... adventuring, sort of."

"Well, I don't understand, but hey, whatever works for you" Lena says "Wait, you're not here to kill the SETBACK are you?"

"The what?"

"Chimera... messes with technology... not accidentally either... thing goes around screwing with medical tech vechicle tech... I'd call it a glitch or FUBAR but those terms are taken." Lena explains "I Put a bounty on it"

"So - we get money if we kill this thing?" A look at Siv.

"Well, your choice actually.. we got money, or dross, or a car"

Siv raises a brow then looks at Dagmar "We wanted to try something different"

"We did!"

"Well. I can tell you where it was last spotted."

Lena gives them instructions "Do not go at it with any fancy tech. You want to leave your phones behind. I'm not kidding"

"We'll, that's doable."

"Okay... uhm... this thing has KILLED people?" Making sure, Siv is.

"Yup. Burned out pacemakers on purpose..other things"

"Dick move."

"Good enough for me. I just wanted to be guilt free" Siv says "Got a place we could put our phones"

"Lockers over here. Pick one"

Dagmar divests herself of her (dumb) phone.

And the same for Siv. Then ..."Okay. We go ahunting"

"So it's just the one?"

"Yeah.. two of us. Should be a peace of cake"

"Mmph." (Don't jinx it)

"mph" (Ooops)

And off they go on the hunt.

The Setback screams , it's voice sounding like the feedback distortion through an ampitheatre system gone haywire. The car wreck near the trafic signal it caused seems to have fueld the darn thing. "Sam, the driver okay?"

Dag grunts, YANKING the car door open to check.

Airbag saved the guy's life. He's got a broken arm ..might want to get looked at for a concusion later

"Let's get you out of the road, yeah?" She carts him off to the sidewalk.

Siv battles the SETBACK... which shoots sparks at her shaped like ERRROR Messages

Once the man is deposited, she goes to join Siv.

Flyswatter is not really "technology" in any sense of the word - but it's plenty big and plenty sharp.

Siv's hair is risen up, and it's not because of metamorphosis. "Ow ow .."

The chimera turns at Dagmar and screams "FILE NOT FOUND!"

Snort.

Another Car's brakes give out and it swerves towards Dagmar

"Dagmar, get out of the way" Siv yells

Dagmar jumps to the side.

Yup. Dagmar is nimbler than she looks!

And Siv says "I cut it, but it's a bit shocking each time I do... you think maybe your thunder thing would..."

She stomps her booted heel against the roadway, and it is answered by a crash of thunder. Obviously, one way to find out....

SETBACK is rocked and disoriented. If it cannot hear, it is harder to disrupt, if it is stunned.

Flyswatter swings!

Siv grins and flanks in unison with her with quill... "Got an idea..."

Siv draws part of it like magnet...stretching SETBACK thin.

And then flyswater SLAMS the center.... cleaving and... it's just not strong enough to stay cohesive against that force!
