"Son of a ...." Confusion. Each girl appears off the trod racing a silver car as they return to the autumn world. Purely chimerical, it doesn't change the fact they are zipping by at 80 miles an hour.

Well, Dagmar knows how to brake....

And that works... swerving to the side she brakes and the car ...vanishes. She staggers and holds still a voice yells "Hey, off to the side"

"First time here in Speedway County?" THe woman is a sidhe, hardly the most attractive sidhe...compared to some she knows. But even an 'average' sidhe is gorgeous by mortal standards. All the odder given her mechanic's cap and upper left of her face which looks like a tiny headlight instead of ap roper eye there. Her voile is that of a pit crew... Dougal colors

"Yes? Um - Speedway, like... Nascar?"

"Indianapolis to be specific..." She offers a hand "Countess Lena. I rule here. Kind of. Actually the nockers keep everything going, and the satyr and eshu drivers are the ones who use it.... mostly I settle fights and try to give good advice. "A blush "When I'm not tinkering or zooming along myself" She's only a year older in appearance than Dagmar herself .

"Cool. I'm Dagmar and Siv.... she's.." SHe looks for her cousin.

Siv is still going in circles.. apparently trying to win.

Lena smirks "She seems over her surprise. How do we tell her it's not really a contest right now?"

"She'll figure it out."

"I think she's having a blast."

"Nice to meet you, Dagmar. Ah, it's pretty informal here... so uhm..." She scratches the back of her head, "You want ah..food or something? A drink? I'm supposed to offer haven and stuff. Mostly I'm a grease monkey speed nut who has to do the paper work so my 'noble' skills are kind of weak"

"Well - troll, not sidhe. You have a race car that's yours?"

"Oh Dreaming yes... Tiger. He's.. he's awesome."

"You wanna see?" Hopeful

"Well, I bet Siv'd like to see him, too."

"We'll we'll wait for her to pull over and stop... or crash..and stop. Stopping happens eventually" the Count assures her.

A snort-grin.

Siv nearly gets wiped out once but comes out grinning, "Did you ssee that? I really shredded up the tracks and... oh.. " She bows, "Sorry, you rule here I take it? I...should I call you by some time title or..."

"Have fun?"

"Call me Lena. " The COuntess says

"Loads.. still not sure how we got into those cars" Siv says

"She offered us hospitality."

"It's our trod egress.. a car forms around you. Lots of folks just pull over as soon as they come in."

"Oh! Cool."

"Neat" Siv says at the same time

"So, you ladies want to see Tiger?" A hopeful look from the Countess

"Sure!"

The Countess leads both trolls to a garage area off from the others, and touches the side of her facee, "Check this. " And slowly it opens to reveal.

"Tiger!" The Countess crows

"Oh, that's why the name. Damn, that's sick!"

"I know, I got these lotus parts, and began to improve..." Lena quickly devolves into techobabble that will lose both girls, but shes clearly proud

Smile-and-nod.

Siv smiles and nods too.

And ten minutes later "And that's AFTER I get the inducer coils upgraded, but that's for next year. Oh, did you two want something to drink or eat?"

"Something to drink would be okay, yeah. Siv?"

"Sure.. whatever you have" Siv says

"Well, Coffee, water..." She whistles "Hugan? You around..."

The Boggan appears as if he materialized, "Yes, your excellency."

"It's just lena when court's not in session, Hugan." She says "What do we have in drinks?"

"Coffee, Water, Lemonaid, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Milk, tea" he starts to say

"Oh, Pepsi please? Hi, I'm Dag, thisis Siv."

"Of course, a pleasure" Hugan says, "Anything for you, your excellency?"

"Pepsi for me too," Lena says and then Siv makes it three. A beat "And I told you, it's only Countess or your excellency when.."

but the boggan is gone
