"So how was college today?" Earl asks offering his arm.

"There are willworkers here - and it seems the Baron has a deal with them."

He lowers his voice as if expecting ears to sprout from the ground "Are you serious? They..that's dangerous. THey can drain balefire."

"I am not certain they know where the balefire is - after all, the Baron is Eiluned."

"I suppose that should give some comfort. How did you find out about the... you've met them haven't you?" That worried amused proud combo

"They were doing magic." She shrugs.

"Oh, my lovely pippin" He takes her hand, "Shall we continue onto the bazaar?"

"Aye. It would be good... less mortal nonsense, for a time." She frowns.

"Okay. " He says

Remembering the directions, they go into the 'dangerous' part of town. which do not seem too active for a friday... possibly even would be muggers are spooked by the unlucky days

"There are rumors. I suppose this is not home, so I should not expect home..."

"mm.. regrets?" Earl asks with gentle eyes as they turn corners and... see ahead of them an elderly Eshu..he is definitely going somewhere.

"No. Not regrets. Concerns? Rumours of unrest." A nod at the Eshu.

The Eshu smiles, swings around a corner sharp and ...vanishes. A slight gleam of glamour

"Unrest? That sounds dangerous. Tell me more" Earl guides her as they follow the Eshu

"Racial..." She squints, looking for the doorway. The invisible rarely escapes a sluaghish gaze.

And find themselves in the Poughkeepsie Pocket! This commoner hold seems to be a radiant bazaar and market place with colorful tents, decorated booths, and at the edges shadowy paths to skirt about, and cat walks above just as shaded.

Apparently one needs merely turn the corner VERY sharply.

Zara makes a tiny sound of delight. "Oh!"

"No wonder Eshu... oh, enough shadows, delightful..."

"How come I get the feeling your kith sisters and brothers are..."

a pair of flickering eyes from above..a nod

"Watching us? Surely."

"Yes..." He smiles, knowing Zara can see them.

She meets the furtive gaze and offers a deep nod.

to Zara's gaze, the eyes are not all... she can see a sluagh woman older than her dressed like some dotty aunt of a past century complete with parasol and what appears to be a still living and possibly rabid mink chimera about her neck. More than the nod, Zara gets a thin black smile.

She smiles back. A bow for the elder.

Earl blinks, "That's one of my paintings" His eyes are fixed on a stall of knicknacks and art pieces. One ofh is paintings from the Dreaming is there.

The Piskie properitor notices the interest, "Collected from the Dreaming at great expense, a dozen , nay a gross of momentos and more"

"Oh... that trip..."

A pause, and a blush... and a covert look for any white-haired nudes...

Oh there maybe mandatory theft if that occurs.

Oh dear lord, behind that painting, another ..mostly hidden, and thank goodness. For the flash of a pale bare ankle with wriggling toes

tug tug tug on Earl's sleeve

"Yeah, it's the drawing of the tower to..." The tug gets his attention. He double looks, lacking her leve lof vision but then his eyes widen "Oh god." And moves forward.

He's about to haggle for his own work... and she might recall how badly he would have done in the pawnshop.

"Morbid lot. Likely poor sellers."

Earl shoots her a wounded look.

"Morbid? why sir, madame, this is created by none other than the great Earl DeBuke! Master of the morbid. Baron of the Blood curdling! Surely, madame, as a sluagh you can appreciate this?" the Piskie gestures.

"Mmmm... tell me of this DeBuke fellow."

"Oh, quite the rebel... born of humbe beginings in a remote sunny rural area..he rose to love the shasows. Some say he seduced a witch and in her embrace learned yet more of the dark paths that no troll knew of ...plunging into nightmare realms where he earned a knighthood for so fierce was he"

"That's not how it happ..." Earl starts to say. Oh lord, he's about to admit to the identity.

She stomps on his foot.
