"Nunenhi" The drummer mutters almost missing the beat.

She hunkers down in the hedges, cloaked in shadows.

"Danballah, wwhat are you ...don't lose the beat" The man with the knife and cauldron says "What do you mean Nunnehi?"

"I thought I felt some of the medicine or mojo that... we're not alone"

Danballah. She files that away.

"Wait ,one of the spirits is watching? " The blonde says then calls out even as she sways "Hey sister spirit, we kind of need the positive vibes for a good deed okay? So don't fuck this up. Welcome to join in though"

The shadows deepen and lengthen about the quartet.

The middle eastern looking woman with the ...Masonic gear has to keep chanting but now looks more than a bit spooked- which is kind of gratifying.

"Hold it together," The Rehdeaded wican dude says

Like ghostly fingers, the shadows menace and lurk

And they do not flinch....One of them starts to lose their energy.. the spell might fail... but concentration the drum beat...

And the shadows are suckedi nto the cauldron.

"That's not good." The Carribiean guy says

"O fortuna... oh fuck" The Hermetic girl blinks

"I think we still got this" The Neo Druid declares.

"I'm trying to redirect but... " The dancing girl says . A burst of magic... glamour....

And all four wizards collapse.

And Zara? Zara feels something flow into her. What was that?

A soft hiss.

She's not sure, but she think she just took some of the will worker's good luck... just as they took it from the cantrips.

Not quite what she meant.. but da'an can be funny.

She's not sure the luck is hers to keep... she is playing with mrotal magic..she needs to think on this.

Then her eyes fall onto the fallen wizards. The one in the Egyptian/Masonic gear... she's got a writing quill that fell out?

She slips out from her hidey hole and investigates the group.

What were they up to?

Something called the Technocracy will use their magics to fake a domestic terrorist attack to purge Vassar in a week. It's an operation meant to provide cover to take out a 'threat to reality'. This cabal planned to store up the luck... and use it to stop the attack.

She remembers the Technocracy... the stolen day, the bad guys, the banal ones with the guns.

Their intent is pure, the augury shouldn't punish them anymore than stubbed toes or what not

Hisss. She touches Danballah - he knows Nunnehi, that's close... a shake of his shoulder AND a jot of glamour.

His eyes open "What I.. Nuneeh!" He almost crabwalks a distance

DEFINITELY Spooked. "Either that or Samedia's niece?"

"A spirit. I have your luck."

"You're something all right, nevah seen one like you before... hey peace peace... y know? We stepping on your bones or something I don't know?" he looks about

"Twas to be a prank. Balance of Fate. But... I have your luck, and you must needs take it back for the fighting of the Cold Ones."

"You're a kindly spirit then to be granting it returned" He says surprised, "The Cold ones? Oh, yeah the technocracy, true, they're not friend to any spirit folk that's for the certain. How should I be calling you, spirit? "

"You may call me Ghost."

"Human magic is strange, but this is not my luck to hold." A pause. "Mayhaps if I give you a blessing..."

At that he grins, "I know a few ghosts... you got a bit more meat on your bones than most... but I hear you. And A fool I'd be to turn down a blessing from a spirit folk feeling repetentent. If you want... I Trust you to lower my wards, let your magic ride me."

He does look a bit nervous as he offers that.

She nods. "This is for the battle, aye?"

"It is..." And he reaches for something at his side, then "Bit of water and rum in this. You want to annoint me?" HE kneels "Then I am open to your magic. Do what you must,and I spread it to the others." It is an act of almost foolhardy courage on his part. She could do so much harm to him, if she wished.

Yes, A fair fortune he can parcel out later, fill the cauldron...it might work very well as she surmised
