"I didn't mean to, but you were really strong..."

"Shit, I'M strong You were .." She closes her eyes "let's say that more and more I'm so glad you were there."

"Well, I had.... I had to be me in a way everybody can see, in order to be strong enough to keep hold."

"It's dangerous, and not really allowed."

"Wait, did you get in trouble with the other fae because of me? "

She shakes her head. "Extenuating circumstances."

"But it has to be life or death, right?"

"Which is why I'm not allowed to just show you." A huff.

"Right.. oh" A nod "I get you. You gotta keep secrets from me" A sour look but she tries to be cool.

"Yeah." A scowl. "Don't wanna. But, like, I figure you have werewolf secrets, too?"

"So, like, I won't press too hard on those, neither."

"I do" she says "But you know about Fianna and Fiona, sounds like you know more about Garou than I do Fae"

"Well, I asked my teacher. I'm still a fledge - it hasn't been a year yet, and so... uhg, I'm still a baby while Gerd gets to do more than I'm allowed..."

"Oh that sucks" Sympathy "Yeahh, I'm 'Cub' this and 'Pup' that"

"Jeez, why do they DO that?"

"It's like hazing, right? We're being hazed?"

"I don't know, for garou we all have this rage, we're warriors for Gaia.. like, mother Earth, and theree's a LOT of shitty things being done to her right? So I get that..it's hard for us to be chummy when w're all pissed and even our Ragabash are warriors in a way... but there's this..testing, like gotta make sure I'm tough enough for war with the real enemy" A sigh "doesn't make it any less annoying. Your giants haze you a lot?"

"We.. the fae... we fight against..." A frown. "More abstract stuff, I guess. Against... like.. the part of you that dies when you realize the world is gonna crush you. That thing that wants the whole world to just give up and be a drone."

"It's got to do with what part of the moon we're tied to..auspices... I'm probably saying too much" A look left and right "But . since you're sharing, seems fair to give some back. We can call it diplomacy right?" a smile "Ragabash are tied to the new moon, no matter the tribe they're kind of the Trickers. I'm a Philodox, which sounds SO boring. I'm like gonna be a judge or some shit, a law keeper...but I guess that means I can boss folks around." At the fae fight she says "Sounds a bit like the Wyrm...nasty insane thing the wyrm, it's poisonn to the world's soul. It used to be more. So you're.. you're on the same side, kind of. "

"They said you fight Fomorians, who wanna destroy the whole world. So, yeah."

"Trolls are protectors, that's what we do. We aren't flashy like some of the others. Big and strong and SOOOOOOO stoic. Like, this face..." She does her best Jaymes impersonation, very rocklike.

A smile at that "Trolls. Huh. Others. Damn. I should have joined with the Fianna. Maybe I'd learn more"

"But... I mean, I like protecting people. If I could stop bad stuff from happening, I would. Are there Fianna at your secret place?"

"A few, but I kind of like the Gnawers sysstem more, they're not so stuck on the hierchy, you know? I can actually voice an opinion and while it's not a democracy Gnawers are more egalitarian or whatever you call it. Tooltaunter is a Black Fury, they're like Women's rights heavy... with a chain saw, but she's a ragabash so she uses humor to punch the patriarchy in the nads. You'd probably like her"

"HA, Tool-taunter." Chuckling.

"Heh yeah, great handle. I'm gonna get me a name later. Big test"

"So, I get hierarchy. We have, legit, kings and queens and shit. And you should see them, they're so beautiful, you feel like you're gonna die on the spot."

"The Sidhe" she says "I heard of them. That's who the Hemlock guy is." a tilt "A fancy name? Huh. I think I'll always think of you as 'Sam the cool girl'"

"I've seen him, from a distance. And yeah, he's... shiny."

"Ha, cool. Yeah, Sidhe are like some that are tied to Fianna and some of the Silver Fangs.. the fangs are like these anti gnawers, not saying they're assholes, but they're all 'oh I'm of the ruling tribe' and 'my blood is so old and snooty' and big on rank and file and stuff. Anyway they got pacts with the sidhe, both tribes and that's why we talk at all. And oh..keep the sidhe away from the Get. "

"The Get? Another tribe?" She munches on a cookie. "Yeah, the sidhe have Houses, commoners don't. Well, not usually - there's exceptions, some get titles even... but sidhe are different."

"Yeah? Oh Get is Get of Fenris, they're like Vikings KINDA? I mean, they say Fenris in the stories was misunderstood or something..but they're mostly scandanavian sorts... thy're also very "Aroo, Arroo.. gung ho war eager,' even more tha most other tribes. And.. I hear some of them, nto all, are kind a racists. Anyway, the story I Know about them is that apparently a LONG time ago, back when fae were powerful, some sidhe saw some Get in big wolf forms.. .big as horses. And they thought 'hey, bet they'd make good mounts' and put a whammy on them for like a hundred years to serve. When those Get got free, pride hurt and all, they told othes of their tribe, and now Get Offended.. I mean of Fenris are just as likely to kill one of your sparkly sidhe as even talkk to them. " A thought "I think they'd be cool with giants though"

"Oh, jeez, yeah - that whammy, it's a big magic. Not fun."

"Heck, I don't even know if it's true" She says 'But they think it's true, and that's all that matters to the Get of Fenris. Not that eveery tribe doesnt' have it's hot heads. Oh, you guys have shapeshifters? I hear some fae are shapeshifterrs"

She nods. "Yeah. That's were werewolves come from, wolf dreams."

"But there's other animal dreams, too - the werewolves just got lost and changed."

"Not what I meant, like.. actual type of faeries that change into horses and stuff" But she raises a brow "We're lost? How edo you know you'r not just wyld spirits with delusions?"

She nods. "Yeah, horses and dogs and snakes - all kinds of animals."

"Those are our ragabash."

"Oh you got em too . Fair, why should jus we suffer" Humor

"If groo met them, no wonder they think fae are confusing. It's like a constant riddle!"

"Blah. Riddles. I never was great at them" But she nods "Sounds like you guys come in a lot of 'types' even more than use maybe. It's cool. Wish I could see you like you really are"

"I don't think you'd remember. Like - you would think it was a dream."

"I'm tall though." She grins. "Over seven foot! Some of the grumps, they're almost ten!" She holds a hand over her head.

"Bullshit..." then "Really?"
