And so it is, Lupita rubs her eyes "This is so messed up. YOu guys really can't..." She coughs "with other garou? I mean, even if you love her?" She glances at Rails

Rails says "Gnawers tend to be more open than most, but as they say, Lupe, think of the children. You've seen our Metis. They're good people but they never quite fit in in either wolves of humans, they're trapped in ours, often utterly"

"You ever do it with another garou? Like..with a condom or something?" She asks

"Next question" He replies

Her dark eyes sharpen then "How am I suppose to uphold the laws of the litany as this Philodox stuff when I'm not even sure that it's right?"

"Every Philodox asks themselves that, and everyone has to find their own answer" Rails shrugs.

"Could you, like, be helpful maybe?" She says "Because right now, you're not."

"You're really lucky Gnawers aren't big on the 5th dictum of the litany, Pup" A dangerous look from Rails "And I'm telling you the answers we have, and believe it or not, it's true. There's value in our ways, who we are, what we are, what holds us together. SOme of it is common sense, some of it? Kind of deep. But just because you don't grasp my meaning doesn't mean there isn't meaning. Don't be arrogant"

"Fifth? Oh..yeah... greater station. Where Gnawers think garou are equal. Hummph. Yeah, okay right tribe for me I guess... of course that doesn't do me any good with other tribes. Maybe I should have become a black fury." She muses

Rails grins "Don't let Tooltaunter's sense of humor confuse you on Black Furies. LIp off to one of THEIR elders? They are as likely to rip your face off as the most hierarchy minded Get or Fang. "

"I just.. when I was young, I grew up with FOUR older brothers. FOUR. I was like the runt of the litter. Every school I had to go to? I was the short girl in class who had to prove herself. Again and again. I took no shit, and I clawed up. Now I'm starting all over again and everyone's old hand at this but me." Lupita sighs "It's..frustrating."

Rails looks at her a bit, then "Who said you were the only new blood?"

"Que?" She asks startled "Wait, there are others who haven't.. i mean, new garou?"

"Sure, not all of them local like you, of course. Shortage of caerns, we end up moving folks, but you're not alone." A smirk "Now, recite the litany entirely, and I'll let you meet one sooner rather than later. "

"You making me jump through hoops now?" A frown.

"Yes" A nod "Also, you've got enough sass that your mouth will write checks your body can't afford..so before I have you meeting those of other tribes, elder or not, you're damn well at least going to know the rules."

"Checks?" A pause 'how old are you?"

A low growl from Rails

"Okay okay... geez" And she recites.
