Sylvi turns her back on the other team and looks to the stands where the fans of the visitors are sitting.

"I SAY GREEN AND YOU SAY WHITE! GREEN!"

"WHITE!"

"I SAY SHOOT AND YOU SAY TWO! SHOOT!"

"Sam, you and Gonzalez are both in... Sorry, May. Don't want to change all of you yet" The coach says

She repeats that again, and then leads the cheerleaders to cheer the fans' enthusiasm!

Kerri laughs and claps at that.

BOUNCING BOUNGING.... and laughter? Wait, whose... two pink satyrs have come out into the stands n the 'enemy side'

"Thanks Coach..."

A thumbs-up for May before she jogs out to the court.

Kerri nudges Olgar and points at the pink twosome.

Gonzalez goes , "Okay, you go nose to nose, maybe I"m too short for her to snatch the ball from me in a tight dribble if I get the ball?"

Olgar Does laugh

"I'll guard her, yeah."

Sylvi hasn't spotted them yet...she's too busy starting another routine.

And Dagmar sees the other Troll girl mutter something to a team mate, and strides towards her..changing positioning to focus on her.

A gruff little up-nod at the other troll.

Sylvi says to Nadeen and Lucita, "This is about to get really interesting."

Now that Dagmar and the girl she doesn't know are close, they can talk so others can't hear "Code of Dagda, right? "

"Yeah."

"It already is," Nadeen giggles "So pink"

"Huh?" She finally follows Nadeen's gaze and....oh....

"Are those the guys...?"

The other troll finally gives her name "Rekke...of Hackensack." Formality, almost ritualistic in her tone "Storm following"

Nadeen says "Of course they are , what were you... Oh. Dagmar"A worried look. "She must win."

Lucia pauses at Nadeen, whispering "Easy on 'that' name...and what's the big deal? It's basketball, not life and death"

"Sam, here." And Sam keeps herself between Rekke and any chance at receiving a pass.

"She's going to take it hard if she loses," Sylvi says, glancing between Dagmar and the pink satyrs, and then realizes, "Dammit...we've got work to do. Come on." And she plasters that big smile on her face again.

"Ricki here" She says, "Might and Duty" Then the game is on and Ricki works against Sam as much as Sam works against her..

We're heading for a basket
We're moving down the floor
We are mighty Pascack High
And we know we're gonna score.

While Sam isn't getting many chances for a shot - she is making sure Hackensack is being deprived of their tallest and strongest.

"You come into our neighborhood, you think you're gonna scare? But the scoreboard says your team is losing , you're game is fake and so your hair!" A chant from the other squad.

Nadeen hisses, "Is it allowed to declare a blood oath of revenge for hair comments?"

"Oh, they did not diss the hair," Kerri comments from the stands.

Besides, Gonzales has enough speed for 7 trolls...

Sylvi's smile actually grows. "We got this," she says to Nadeen. Their next clapping, posing routine is accentuated by ample tosses of clearly natural, beautiful hair.

Laughter, even from some of the home fans.. that was a good shot back

Olgar smirks "Don't worry, babe. Sylvi's got em"

Try as she might, Rekke can't really get back in the game. She frowns, mutters something about not letting her team down, but Dagmar has effectively trapped her in a perfect balance and then some.

Dagmar doesn't gloat - she's doing her job, not trying to humiliate or embarrass Rekke.

Gonzalez surely misses being able to pass to her team mate , the one time she tries Rekke swats it... but she does become a nightmare for the opposing team as she weaves, closes on the basket, and makes one shot, and passes it to other girl .. the Visitors are catching up!
