"Oh dear." Sip. "They are... two sides of a coin?"

A blink, and her eyes narrow, confused. "In...demeanor?"

"Bah. OH, Jaymes! Did you see the fireworks?"

"In fate."

The Lady steps closer, walking-stick clicking. "I didn't look too deeply, of course, but a touch was enough."

"Yeah, rocked the Kestrel a bit" He says

"The Kestrel? Is my inheritance okay?" Siv turns on Jaymes "You didn't let the ship get hurt did you?"//Jaymes raises a brow "We're fine, thanks"/Siv blushes

Brekke's jaw is tight, now. "I see." A pause. "What are you willing to share with me, Excellency, about their fates?"

"Aw, man, I missed a boat trip... but oh, the bubble was cool! It felt like being in a movie!"

"I still prefer the Kestrel, the wind in your hair" Siv says

Adelaide raises a brow "You have a flying ship?"

"One has no ties at all. The other... the mark of Da'an is on her, and it is not a light weight to carry."

A nod, jaw tight. "And yet...of the same coin. Are their Fates bound together?"

A distant expression. "I did not look so far."

Siv goes "My mum and da do, but she res ponds to me as well. .oh she's a grand ship, with a bird of prey design instead of a dragon..." And will go on proudly

Another brief nod. "It is likely best we do not know." Tone grim.

"Yes, I imagine ignorance is bliss." Sip.

A frown. "Excellency, what use is it to know unless one intends to tamper? And tampering with Da'an rarely ends well."

Jaymes tells Dagmar, "It's possible you'll be flying on the kestrel home soon. We still don't want to risk trods."

"A question that has been debated through the centuries." She... agrees?

Harrumphs.

"I know, no trods... but... does the kestrel have a... bird nest? Eagle nest? Way up?"

Brekke's not quite sure how to respond to that, so...is silent.

"Crow's nest" Siv says "I tend to go there"

"Well." With an air that says the matter is concluded. "Let's hope their enemies feel the same way." Sip. "Would you like to join the tour? We do have coffee here, if you like."

"Can I ride up there? Or... what was it, Siv - the boom?"

"No...thank you, Excellency. They are already well along. I will return to the ship and ready it for departure. Again, you have my gratitude for their safety, and my apologies for the inconvenience."

"Girls, the Kestrel isn't going to be flying around regularly" Jaymes says "Okay, so no promises on it's use. THat's not for me to say. I'm not going to lie to you just to get your hopes up"

"We better turn around" Vali says "I think the tour is about over. Thank you, Adelaide. The tapestries were new to me. "

A formal bow to the Countess, and she turns to go.

The Countess nods. "As you like, of course. No apologies necessary, it was....illuminating."

Adelaide says "My pleasure"

"Cool place, Addie. You come visit, we'll show you around - right Siv?"

Adelaide blinks "Addie? Well.." Then "yes thank you."//Siv smiles "Sure! Gerd would love a visit"

A pause, and she turns. "Countess...Siv is my daughter, and Dagmar is under my protection. Whatever illumination you may have received...I expect you will utilize it with extreme care." A careful, neutral tone.

"Gerd is desperate for a visit. I think she wants friends her own age."

Jaymes eyes Dagmar and looks a bit proud of something/ The Countess and Chieftian might hear foot steps as the tour group returns

An eyebrow lifts. "Indeed? Well. In light of that, I will be..... very careful."

Thane Tiffany who has been nearby the Countess, well, her tail has gone down

A lift of her chin...then a slight nod, acknowledging the Countess's words...and then she looks to the returning group.

"We're gonna fly on a boat. Today ROCKS."

"Come," Brekke says to the Rivervale crew. "The Kestrel waits."

Siv turns to the Countess and bows, "Your excellency, thank you so much for your kindness and letting us tour the place. I know we wilders can be a handful. You're not just disturbingly lovely for your age, you're a generous hostess. Thank you"

Tiffany chokes a bit. Why? Who can tell

Brekke watches the farewells, resting a hand on Siv's shoulder as the girl approaches.

"Right - thanks for letting us see the place!"

She nods graciously. "You are all most welcome. Do visit again."

"Sorry, mum, just..trying to be polite and grateful" Siv says and gives her mom a hug. "Ready to go."

"You did very well," Brekke nods to Siv, returning the hug, but perhaps a bit more briefly than if they were in the Lodge. As they turn to go, she keeps her hand on Siv's shoulder.

Dagmar nearly bounces in her eagerness to see the BOAT.
