"I liked your song!" She assures Tove.

Tove laughs, "no no..I'm learning more about modern music myself. I thought you'd want to listen to some samples with me some time?"

A grunt. "Ain't much. Either stupid girl stuff or just about choking bitches and fucking bitches and how they suck."

"Ugh," At that latter "Well, I like some stupid girl stuff, but yes, the othr sounds like someone's an ass who fears women so needs to treat them wrong to feel better about herself. Don't you ever put up with..." Tove stops, "Sorry, not my place to lecture and sounds you know how hateful that line of thinking is. But I'm sure there's more"

Rolls her eyes. "Tanya likes Taylor Swift."

"Taylor has some talent' Tove says "But my word, she needs to talk about more than boyfriends and rivalries"

Zane chuckles at that

"Yeah. She sucks."

"Katey Perry?" Zane says

Grunt.

"Thor had cool music in it."

"AAAAHHH-YEEEE-ah-AH!" Toss a sandbag.

"Oh that's an actual rock song" Zane says "Led Zepplin, Immigrant song"

"Well, Heavy Metal I guess"

"Well, it's good. I like it when the guitars are all, like... you know? Like.."

"Alive and screaming their rage?" Tove says in a question

"Yeah!"

"Sounds like a lot of noise to me," Torrad, the old skald humphs

"Well, like it better than the other stuff." Shutting it down. Head bent, work hard, don't need to talk.

"Father" Tove fusses, then looks to Dagmar, "DOn't you mind, Dagmar, father's just set in his ways. If you like Heavy Metal, you enjoy it."

Shrug. Sandbag.

"Aye aye, apologies, Dagmar" The Skald says "I did not mean to discourage any loveo f music"

And they go back to sandbagging

"Don't know music." Gruff.

Olgar strides back, "HOw's it..geez, easy guys, we're trying to protect the neighborhood, not China." He looks "Good work."

"We need to go somewhere else, boss?"

"You do," He says to Dagmar, "If you're up to it?"

"Yeah. I can keep this up." She pulls back her hood, briefly, to take a look around.

"This way..." He says . leading her on further out and to a small house ...but it's not the house he stops at. There's a woman in a car, enchanted, kinian, and her car is stuck in a muddy ditch

"You willing to risk getting dirty?" He says, "Because we need to push Widow Walthorp"

She hesitates - the Widow, to her, looks just like a regular old lady. "Am I allowed? Frank said I can't use it in front of people."

"I'm part Nockeer furkin...kids..." she mutters in a thick Jersey accent.

"Yeah, she's enchanted, and she's in the know," He says, "Pick a spot to push from. "

"You ain't look it, Lady!" But she nods, and finds a spot behind the rear fender.

He picks another, and says "GUN IT!"

And "PUSH!"

She digs her heels into the mud, shoulder to the car... and pushes.

MUD SPRAYS AND SPEWS but.. she almost lifts it up as well as pushing it forward and.. with Olgar's help (No slouch that grump) the car goes off , swerving at first then gone.

"You're welcome, you old hag," Olgar grumbles as she drives off.

For her part, she seems surprised. Not that it was easy, per se.... "Whoa."

"Heh, we better becareful, if the car was smaller you might have flipped it. You got chops, kid"

"I... I think I coulda, yeah."

"I don't doubt it. Now you see why they got that code of Dagda I mentioned. Keeps us thinking bout our muscle." A nod "So, not a total waste unlike some rules. Okay, we're done. Floods are clearing, we're ready in case of another wave... why don't you get into the lodge, borrow a shower, and Gerd will run your clothes through the laundry."

"And food, maybe?" Trying to be casual.

"Better be, I'm hungry enough that one of the dogs might look good." He escorts her to the lodge and opens the door for her.

She tromps in, muddy boots leaving a trail.

"Ack! Wipe your feet" Gerd declares

"Huh? Oh!" She sits down to take off her boots - getting mud on a chair.

Olgar chuckles, and wipes his , then comes in "Easy on her, Gerd. She's been at it all dday, and it's not just the feet. And.. oh well" He notices the spread, "It's good luck."

"I don't think Hearth Kerri will agree, Mister Olgar," Gerd says, with a sigh
