The ambulance lights flicker, but at least the siren is on as they put the body on board

And an Eshu texts one who has become a sister to her

TXT: Zara. your dad he's going to be okay.

TXT: ?!?

TXT: He's going to be all right. The EMT said so. They're just taking him to the hospital

TXT: What do you mean, hospital?

TXT: Want me to visit Missouri?

TXT: No, I will be there in a flash

("Earl!")

And moments later, Earl and Zara appear .. in a flash. By now the ambulance is long gone.

Earl didn't ask too many questions of Zara then, but he asks now "Okay, what do we know?"

"Papa was taken in an ambulance. Tzipporah? Mama?" She looks for them.

There are sounds from the kitchen.. oh dear, mama is on a cleaning cooking frenzy

And Tziipporah? she's pacing. An Eshu with no where to go

Alas.. neither hears Zara's whisper

Earl however is right by her side "We came as soon as we heard"

And his voice is useful

While a few spiders are still at home, a half-dozen sisters are fanning out to explore. 1122 is riding on her hair.

Tzzy moves and somehow ignores the troll to hug Zara "Oh you made it!"

"Of course I did. How could we not come?"

"The Kitchen is getting scrubbed like crazy. Ratchet is in his workshop hammering away. Uncle H was away but is heading back"

"What happened?"

"Aaron collapsed... right there in the floor. We found him and... I mean, are heart conditions known to run through the family? He woke up right away, said he was fine but he was weak"

Earl arches a brow at this

"I have some dross... aye, I could last in the hospital a bit..."

"It's the expensive one, fancy, hopefully less banal?" Tziporah says

"Expensive doesn't always mean less banal" Earl warns "Zara honey, your dad wouldn't want you risking yourself"

Huff!

"I want to see him. I should be there."

Earl fights protective instincts and says "I wish you'd consider otherwise. we'll learn more when the doctors call I'm sure but... what you wish, my love"
