the man gets up and goes, to get..wahtever it is Tizzy thought was 'the perfect gift'

He leans in, curious.

"Siv... go check out the restroom. I want to ask the guy something. Like... 5 minutes."

Siv arches a brow, then nods "You're in charge" She slips out

to go to the not so little girl's room

He waits for the dude to return.

The Dude returns with a box

It's a rather nice box, pine wood, something must be inside of it. Glamour tingles within

Symon - er, Hiro, fidgets a bit, he slumps over to look even shorter than he is, and puts on an anxious look. "Hey, uh, mind if I ask you something?" The softspoken Japanese boy asks the clerk.

"Only if you don't mind if I answer" A grin.

He leans in and says, "Well, y'see, I think that, uh, Tizzy there, she's just s..swell. I'd like to ask her out, b-but... I'm not sure if she has a b-boyfriend already, and I was too shy to ask. Have you seen here come in with another guy?"

He plays the anxious kid rather well, he had many years of experience. "If I'm wrong and asked anyways, I could just d..d...die!"

"No, can't say I've seen her with anyone else. She's a nice girl, always happy to hear my stories if I listen to ne of hers. I know she said she was getting that" He points "For her sister, but she said she had to drop some place for 'Voo Doo tea' whatever that is, to really sell it. "

"Oh, I hope it wasn't a tea d-date. Well, thanks." He steps back, waiting for her to return from the bathroom.

As he steps back, the man says "Hey son, it's okay. Best way is just be honesst with em but don't expect anything for liking them. And if they don't feel the same, it'll hurt, but you respect it. Don't pay attention to them Rom coms of my generation, now adays that's called Stalking"

He swallows and nods. "W-w-would never, sir."

And so, when Siv returns, Hiro... and Symon, for that matter, look rather embarrassed. So that if they made a quick excuse to head out it seems legit enough.

"Thank you so much" she says gathering the box

"You're welcome. That'll be twenty dollars" the man says "For late pick up"

Symon digs in his pocket and offers over the twenty.

The guy takes it, and off they go

"There's a treasure in here" She whispers

"I can feel it from here. Should we... I guess we shouldn't." Clearly curious.

"We should, it's evidence on a case" She says

"And we need to go to the Voo-Doo Tea shop. Tzipporah was headed there. I think for part of the gift."

He pales a bit, suddenly. "Wait... who is the gift for?" He fears he already knows.

"Zara's birthday was yesterday" Siv says thoughtful "Last night. "

He winces. "Well, if we can help her out here, maybe that's a good gift."

He reaches over to unwrap the box.
