He brings out the supplies he brought. A scalpel with a razor sharp blade. A crisp sheet of blank paper. Glue.
It does take a while - the minutes tick by, and Siv might be bored. But Symon is exact, as he pages through the Time magazine, finding one letter after another, cutting them out, and pasting them on the paper. By the time almost an hour has passed, he has a copy of the text from the letter Hannah received. His, however, is in the stereotypical 'Ransom Note' style, each letter cut and pasted out, a drawn out bunk... made even more difficult in that he has written out the entire letter backwards.
It is an involved, precise bunk, setting the scene to make the eventual cantrip flow smoothly through the lines drawn for it, not taking chances with fate being fickle.
