Home again, home again...

One thing about "home" is it is a place you can simply appear. And so Zara does - through the kitchen door, not the front.

Hannah bustles around, not realizing the girl is there at first; which is as Zara wants it of course.

"Hello Mama."

Earl has wiped his feet and taken off his hat.

AND THERE GOES A KUGLE!!!!!

The boggan starts and tosses the glass pan into the air.

"Eep!"

"EEEEK!!"

"Uhm?" Peeking blue head

Zara clamps her hands over her ears as the kugel flies!

Earl runs to catch the pan if he he can before it falls

And snags it! "Got it"

"EEEEK!!!" Hannah squeeks again and dashes out of Earl's way.

"Sorry, ma'am" he says "I just... ah hello"

Hannah leans against the countertop with her hand on her chest in a familiar gesture, although the alarm on her face doesn't usually go with it. "What on EARTH do you two think you are doing!??! You -startled- me!" stating the obvious.

"Perhaps.." he says offering the pan "I should le Zara explain"

"Sorry Mama."

"For heaven's sake, come in, come in......" she takes the pan from Earl and shoos them in.

"I know, it is not yet Passover..."

"I wasn't expecting you!" hustling them into the living room.

Earl is hustled

"Aaron, looks who's here!"

Aaron looks up from his magazine. "Hmm?"

"Sir" Earl says

"Oh, Zara." He stands and offers her a kiss, then Earl a hand. "Earl."

"Just visiting for a little but, but I couldn't come to Scarsdale and NOT see you..."

He shakes the hand firm but not crushing

"Visiting? What brings you back east from the wild west?" Aaron gestures for them to sit while Hannah flutters around making tea.

"I need to borrow a particular book for a research project."

Earl smiles at the wild west comment

"Really? Which one?" Aaron rises and goes to the bookshelves.

"Ah, no. One from the Hollow."

"Oh." He nods and returns to his recliner. "We thought we'd see you at Passover."

"You will!"

"So this trip is more... business... than visiting, but I did wish to say hello."

"Stay for dinner." It is an invitation from Hannah; sort of.

he recognnizes the 'invite' that is an order "if it's no trouble?"

"Aye. I could go nip over to the hold and return quickly?"

"Trouble, of course it's no trouble, honestly....." out to the kitchen she goes with ".... take him with you!" ordered behind her.

"Ah" Earl prepares to follow Zara then.

"Ah... as you wish. Thank you. The kugel looks lovely."

A peck on Aaron's cheek, another for Hannah, and Zara is off to Alabaster Hollow. Presumably with a troll in tow.

Trol is in tow, annd a bit worried , once they are out of the house he asks "Should I be worried I was sent with you? Is that a micro banishment?"

"Possibly? Maybe she wants to do a surprise for dinner..."

"Oh" A bit of relief "I guess I was worried it was more 'you fiend, you seduced our innocent daughter into oathing'"

"Hey, I asked you."

"And made me the happiest troll this side of Arcadia" he nods "But your folks may not see me that way"

"Well, they'll come around. They like you."

"I like them" he says "Sometimes I want to stranggle Hirim, but I think even Ratchet understands that"
