Earl blinks a bit, "We should head ..where? Where do you want to go?"

"I... I don't know. Closest trod I know is far. Bus?"

"Bus," he says dimly, not stupidly, but she can see his blue is not as bright.

She snags his hand, giving his knuckles a glamour-filled kiss. "You pushed too hard. Can't lose you, either."

He blushes "huh. I should practice what I preach huh?"

"I have more presents for thee. Aye. What wouldst I do, return them?"

He laughs a bit , a soft chuff from familiarity with delicate ears.

"Inconsiderate of me indeed."

His blue is a bit brighter again.

"Aye." A pause. "I love you."

And he almost gains more glamour from that alone, "I know. And you love August too, just not in.. not in the same way. You have a heart so strong with love, Zara it amazes me. "

She demurs, wordlessly, but squeezes his hand. "Home, aye?"

"Silly Sluagh," He says "I'm with you. I am home."

She looks up at him, dark eyes suddenly sparkling. "Aye." And she stretches up for a kiss.

He bends down and grants her that, taking one for his own too
