August Rachford.

Oh, August.... He's so Faded.

His cool grey eyes watch the group intently, every line of his body focused on the discussion. Something about comparative religion and historical context and....

She slithers along the floor, behind furniture, creeping closer and watching...

He nods and interrupts them. "Ok, guys.... good. You've got this, you're going to pass, or better. Who needs Math review?"

Tutoring? Zara squirms behind a chair, watching the hollow reflection of her friend. Would he even recognize her? Miriam didn't...

Several people mumble; no one likes it but they all pretty much need it. Books are produced, and people pair off. August finds a couple to sit with.

A whisper to 1122, and he is sent back out "Forgotten, faded. Tutoring? Call him under pretense?"

"Ok, so I missed about two weeks, on and off, but I got notes at the time.... so Chapter 12.... Can we look at that?" August speaks quietly with his study buddies, a mousey-brown girl with glasses and a blonde that smiles at him.

"Sure." The blonde says. "Here, take my notes...." She offers him the pad.

Narrow eyes at the blonde.

Earl can't make out what the beeps mean, and gets worried, "Sorry, 1122. I don't understand."

Agitated tapping!

"Crap." he mutters and draws his blade, veiling with the help of the item, and then portal passages in. Like her, he should be unnoticed.

August nods and takes the pad, flipping through to the notes and starting to read. "Ok, see, antiderivatives of algebraic and trigonometric functions has me baffled. Do either of you have any insight?"

The trio begin searching notes and text, talking about ideas, as the rest of the group takes up their own courses.

A sigh, and she takes out her own phone. A text. "Hey Aug, wanna go see Star Wars before finals?"

She can hear his phone beep.... from down the hall.

He does not appear to.

The troll kens August

1122 marches back in, invisible to the crowd and Zara-hunting.

Earl mutters "Fantastic. Sometimes I think finals should come with helpbuddies like water sports"

Zara settles in to wait - they can't be here ALL night...

Earl breaks out a piece of paper himself, and takes the time to turn it into oragami.

The study-talk goes on. The blonde is very helpful. Mousey-brown seems more lost than August. He's helping her, with the blonde's help.

OOC Time-jump?

OOC: Yup.

It's going on 11 p.m. and two subjects later when everyone seems to run out of energy.

OOC *ROTF*

"Oh, guys. That's it. Meet at the library at three tomorrow afternoon. We'll do a some more hours, then pizza. My treat."

August rises, stretches... he, and all but one of the others, start to pack up.

Zara stirs, ready to follow.

Who doesn't pack? The blonde?

A black kid called LaJon. August thanks him for the use of the place, LaJon is equally grateful for the help in Art History, so it's even-steven.

August walks out. The blonde walks out at the same time.

She scuttles close at August's heels - dodging and squeezing outside when the door opens.

She makes it.

Earl follows as well, or tries to

Earl is much bigger.

OOC: yup. I can roll a Dex plus athletics or something?

A faint scowl once outside - she doesn't see Earl.

Sounds good. Dex + Athletics; I know he's smallish for a troll but... 3 sux?

The door slams and bounces back as LaJon goes to shut it, knocking into him. "What.... Ow!!"

Holds still and hopes LaJon assumes he hit the wall.

"Damn, man, what.... " LaJon steps forward and carefully -closes- the door.....
