"Not sure! If we're lucky, it'll start patrolling the place to protect it from any threats." He says

"And if we aren't so lucky???"

"It thinks you're a threat and gets cacefuego if it DOES furkin eat you!" Frustrated, "I was trying to tell you it woke up early... I needed help fixing the programing. Other than that, it's a furking amazing creation!"

"A furkin' cat-Terminator is what it is!!!" He looks around for it, cane ready. "Can you control the furkakta thing?"

"Blame firnost, the glamour there is weird, helps bring things to life when I didn't want it to so I figured this time I'd use the glamour purposefully..and it worked! Only it woke up too soon, woke up too soon before I could help form anything but the furkin ruidimentary personality! It's why came to you! To impress you and maybe get a tip on how to help finish the programming. I aint got persmission from the Bes Din to make a golem that thinks but I figured you might know!"

A movement shoots over the railings above, brief, like a breeze

"Oy Gevalt... Oy Vey..." He tracks the movement above him. "

"Firnost, yes, you couldn't find a good workshop, not anyone that would take you, no, you strike out on your own...."

"I DON'T WORK GLASS!"

"It still thinks a bit like a cat...I managed to trap it in the harness by getting a box big enough for it to try to fit on" and he looks irritated at the yell, "No, but I thought maybe you used BRAINS! Or is that too new fangled for..." Clamps down on needle teeth

The cat dropss down and swipes, not at Hirim, but the cane!

Hirim shouts and swings.

The cat isn't really hurt, it doesn't like it, but it appears to be both supple and strong

"Oy vey!" He drops and... well, not so much rolls. He scrabbles.

"Don't kill him! Don't kill him!" He tells the cat ...it hisses at the old nocker and knocks his cane away if he can further.

The old man lets the cane go, looking for shelter.

"Pssst pssst pssst...." He calls, gently.

The cat's ears twitch at the new sound, tail lashing less.

Curiousity

"Ppsst...Pst! Pssstttt...." He tempts.

Aggitated less, curious more...and he follows the older Nocker's sounds. by now HIrim could be in a crate of wood, or behind it... or behind any number of sofas or chairs

"Pst pst pst...."

He finds a way, creakily, wincing, hiding and making sounds to attract the creature to himself.

It finally loses its full irritation, and moves close peeking it's head towards the sound.

There are.... kissing sounds?

The cat sighs, perhaps it gets a lot of that at Firnost, but it peeks its head in completely towards the sound or wherever the sound is coming from

Hirim edges his way away from the workshop, slowly.

the boy moves close to Hirim, "Uhm, are we ...leaving it here?"

"You got this thing?"

A swallow, "It's never attacked me. I think so."

(PAUSE SCENE)

"Ok, so.... your animus was off, it woke up early. You can't get it back to sleep, nu, right? You tried that, right?"

"It's got a personality already, one you made? You tried using that to control it?"

"Well, it's a guardian... I put the urge to protect in it. But I may have used a bit too much House cat in it."

"What do you mean? It throws up in your shoes, what???"

"Well, it gets distracted by mice, light points..."

"Ha! If it's distracted, can you get it?"

"I think so...you got a light pointer or something?"

"I got Pyretics, will it react to that?"

"Sure should...move it around a bit?"

"Yeah, yeah, like I need -you- telling me how to cast a cantrip in my own workshop..." Grumbled as he taps the ground three times with the foot of his cane and then stomps once, creating a Will o the Wisp. "My other pair of glasses...." He directs it in a whisper, and the glow begins to wander.

The cat tries to play it cool...but...as the wisp shoots past, it...it just can't help it, and scrambles after! Leaping and pouncing for the wisp

"Ok, so get it." He mutters.

The boy breaks into a run, and tries to tackle the cat! It is startled, but apparently the younger Nocker's fingers touch a sweet spot and...it begins to purr...it's crystal blue eyes start to shut....and it sleeps!

It's also on top of the boy using him as a pillow

"Huh." Watching the technique.

"I've seen better."

"By someone my age?" the boy challenges

Which would seem a lot more assertive if he weren't trying to wiggle his way out from under a great glass cat

"By -girls- your age." He takes off his smeared glasses and cleans them on his tie. Not much change. "So what now, Mr. Genius?"

Winces at the girls compression, "Mean old codger" He mutters, then says "Now I ask you again if you know how to help me reset it or finish up its programming so I can keep it better behaved or know someone who can. It's too good a project to destroy, and you know it." Chin Jut of youthful stubbornness
