"I like birds."

"Oh, I should show you where some of ours flock around here if the baroness hasn't shown you already. We have Bald Eagles among others. WOuld you like that?"

BIG eyes.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, we've got everything from Peregrine Falcons to horned puffins, and plenty of song birds too. Do you have a favorite sort of bird or just love em all?" She smiles "I admit I like the songbirds best. But my tribe likes singing."

"I mean, I'm biased about falcons."

"It's the rules."

A snerk "Wow, they're strict."

"I've met spirit-falcons, y'know."

"Or Falcon-spirits?"

"BIG magic bird, either way."

"You have?" she says startled, "They're.. often powerful totems, overlooked by some. Said to be only under the Great Eagle."

"Well, Gwydions are Falcons, too."

"So I guess when I was in a Falcon's turf, like recognized like." She tugs on her sleeve, revealing a scarred glyph on her bicep.

She looks it over, "Interesting. You've been to the medicine lands, or the medicine lands have been to you" Fascinated but not offended, "That must be quite the story."

She shrugs. "I helped a friend."

"Some of the best stories start with that, i'm told. Tziporah the Humble once told me some of her best tales came from being in someone else's business. Not quite the same as helping a friend mind you, but it might apply to both."

"Anyway," She assures "YES, we have lots of birds. I dont' know if another will grace you as Falcon did, but they're nice to watch."

"Nice enough to watch, yeah. Tziporah the Humble sounds like a kick."

"She says she once dropped off a fledge to your place"

A smile "But yes, she has adventures and is generous in ssharing them. I think she changes the names of some of the stories to protect the innocents but I don't blame her for that."

"She did! Eshu have a way. I don't know that many, but they're nice to listen to."

"And you don't have to talk much. Low pressure."

"Ha. Try getting a word in edge wise," She jokes "But yes, it can be nice they put in the work and just want an audience."

"Mm." Agreement.

"now, what can you tell me about... " She asks a few questions on how Rivervale is doing, and Sylvi in goldfinch as she hasn't been there in nearly a year. Dagmar tells her, and is rewarded with a bit more talk of Sylvi's own adventures back in the day with Dika-Hannah and events around here.
