"Reading people. Playing court games. And, yeah, being outgoing or friendly or... oh, hell, you missed the whole mess I made with one of the new trolls."

"Well...reading people is difficult, yes, but at least you can usually tell when they are being untruthful. I have found it often comes down to asking the right questions, catching them out in their deceptions."

A soft huff and she nods. "It's tricky when they do the damned clever thing."

"Like, not a lie, but just skirting the truth."

"Of course. And learning how to manage around that takes time. Practice." A slight huff. "I have been caught flat-footed by such deception many times. You will learn."

She nods.

"Vali's sending me to a bunch of Gwydion holds." A pause. "Mostly sidhe ones."
