"Yeah, he managed to get the one all puffed out like it was spooked, and it's actually really technically complex. He was explaining it, like first he..." Dagmar proceeds to parrot an apparently in-depth process - not understanding all of it, but she paid attention when he told her.

Sylvi listens, adding questions and comments as needed...and paying attention to Dagmar's expression and tone as she talks.

Dagmar brightens up a bit, actually. Oh, there's pictures on her phone.

"Oh, cool!" she says about the pictures. "How does he make them look so alive? It's really uncanny."

"Yeah. I think all his work with minis helped."

"Makes sense. Plus lots of practice."

"Sy's meticulous."

"Perfect word for it."

A pause.

"I know this is going to feel pushy...but let's go talk to Maisie. Right now."

"now?"

"Yeah. I think we have to. We need to resolve this."

Her expression is compassionate. She knows this isn't easy.

"C'mon." She stands and tidies things up.

Dag sighs and does her part, dumping things in the trash as Sylvi takes care of leftovers.

And Flopsy? Flopsy watches his charges with rabitine alertness and gentle warmth
